It is certainly an up hill battle for us. You are playing great, and it will be a "home game" for you.

We'll show up and play hard. I'm nervous about our interior D Line and Safeties on defense and O line on offense.

LSU fans are good folks, and we have more in common than differences.

We are both southern Land Grant schools in relatively small states. Great food - Charleston isn't New Orleans but darn close. Even our coaches came from similar grassroots situations and are good guys.

I have a number of good LSU friends - members of the LSU faculty and and LSU PhDs next door and right above me.

We generally travel well and will have fun before and after the game, but rabid fans during the game.

My mentor in work was a Louisiana native, actually looked and sounded like Coach O, Larry de la Bretonne from Houma.

I also have your Death Valley on my life list for a game, but I haven't been able to make it YET!

I'll shake your hand before the game and wish you good luck, raise Hell during the game and shake your hand after the game - Win or Lose!
