Clay Travis circa December 27, 2011 when Gunner Kiel committed: "Rich get even richer".... Boy how far we've fallen since people were making those statements about us

If your point is that we have retards in this fan base who have given up on a true sophomore because he didn't light it up in the spring game, then I am with you.

I think Joe will win the job, but that doesn't mean Brennan doesn't have a future as a starter at LSU.

At last we had a quarterback! He was going to take us to the Promised Land.

Ah, good times....

We're still excited but he needs to learn to like the food down there...

Can't play in the SEC at 185

I take his point as QB has become kind of a unicorn and any decent prospect is viewed as savior and maybe we should temper the reaction towards Burrow

Well, I'm that way with all QBs.

Until they prove shite on a major college football field, I really am not going to get all hyped up about HS film.

I mean, it's nice when they're well rated.........but HS ain't college.

That said. Burrow looked a LOT better in his Spring outing......which isn't HS film

Well, some of that is on Myles for not living up to the expectations. He did not light it up last year.

A) Shut up.

B) It sounds like he was used as fodder for the Orgeron/Canada feud. There was no way Brennan was going to make any progress last year.

It is laughable

KaBoom

It’s post like this that remind me this board isn’t made up of all turds.

Wait until our first possession vs Miami for the next chapter.

Burrow goes 3 and out and Brennan will once again be the fan favorite.

So, two weeks ago people here were predicting 6 losses due to the QB situation. LSU lands a solid SEC sized QB, and now we aren't allowed to think he is probably better than Brennan right now. Gotta love tRant.

He was going to be a red shirt junior in eligibility at Ohio State. Don't make it sound like he's 23 years old.

He still will. Just hasn't developed quite to where we need him just yet. From what I've seen, he's got the spirit, the eye, and the arm. Just needs some consistency--and yes, some weight couldn't hurt.

In the meantime, Burrow mans the helm.

I think he'll be an amazing Tiger. We were hoping for miracle speed in developing and that just hasn't happened. IMHO, Burrow fills the gap and speeds that time-frame up.

Elite 11 means nothing. Big difference between the skills they test and an actual game. Nebraska had 2 Elite 11 guys over the past 5 years (Johnny Stanton and Patrick O’Brien) and neither one ever saw the field — which says a lot, considering how mediocre the Huskers have been.

I think it's more about how exited we've been in the past for ANY new qb savior . Wise people (doesn't have anything to do with being smart ) just understand history, if you are really young , you can't be wise enough to understand .

I am still excited about Myles Brennan. I don't know why anyone would have changed their mind.
