It was funny watching pirate king and others laughing at Woodward thinking he’d hire stoops from Kentucky and saying Woodward was a failure lol. That coaching change board was hilarious

People in LA are used to incompetence. They don't know how to handle a competent leader like Woody.

Well especially since the state/university funds only pay about $400K of that 10M salary...

I was wrong and I admit it. I also am glad I was wrong. LSU is getting tons if good publicity right now
and Scott Woodward is the man who earned all that good publicity for LSU at a time we really need it.

I don't necessarily disagree. However, the fact of the matter is that none of us knows what happened. We didn't know when TD thought it was a disaster and we don't know now that we (IMO) made a homerun hire. We only know the outcome and the outcome is all that matters. The media accounts probably weren't accurate (until the VERY end) because I don't think SW and his team leak. I think the smokescreens, misdirections, and palace intrigue are fan inventions. It's probably not how this stuff works.

I wanted Riley or Aranda.
Once it wasn’t Riley, I was still positive that SW would do the right thing. I just thought the right thing was hire Aranda.
I never even suspected CBK was in the running.
Turns out, SW is a much better AD than I am :)

0 state/university funds go towards BK’s pay (or anything in athletics). Even the $400 base comes from athletic department/TAF funds. The only reason there is a base is for pension/retirement calculation purposes, nonetheless all of his pay comes from athletic department funds.
