granted Miles has done an excellent job of preparing teams in the face of adversity ie Katrina and Rita.

FIFY. FYI there were just as many LSU player's families adversely effected by the second hurricane that summer, which by the way was a far bigger and more destructive storm. It just didn't hurt the bowl known as New Orleans.

Good thing the games not won or lost on meassage boards, jeez. I agree that everything thats happened will only pump LSU up and Miles will play on the us agaist the world card to regain focus. There's no doubt in my mind that both teams will be well prepared and it will be a tough game decided in the fourth quarter.

Both Coachs did not get to where they are by not being able to handle the emotions of their players. I wish there was no issues with either team and the boys could go at each other with all their starters, but, that's not the case and at the end of the day one team will have a win and the other a lose with no * next to it.

I was reading an Oregon message board yesterday and they are being way too cocky.

Compared to this board. Funny.

Talking about how this win will be tainted for them and so on. It's going to be hilarious watching them get spanked.

Yeah no way that LSU fans will use these past few weeks as an excuse if they lose . All they wanted was a game where if they won people wouldn't say yeah but.

You dont have to worry about that. We are going to man handle Oregon in the treches, and Lee is going to hit Randle all day

LSU can still win with Lee at QB. He looked good at times last season and with another year under his belt and a new o-coordinator he could be a lot more consistant IMO.

Take it easy, sweetheart. We're just doing a little chest thumping. It's a cultural difference. We take our football pretty seriously down here.

Given the way The Hat can rally the team, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Tigers run the table. I'm not saying I think it will happen (LSU is too schizophrenic for that), but I just wouldn't be surprised.

LoL Oregon sold all of their tickets. It's a home game for you guys because the cotton bowl gave you guys way more tickets and you're closer to Texas

PS: J. Lee or Mett are nightmares for Chip Kelly. Chip is also going to be shocked at some of our freshman/young talent which might be once in a lifetime.

It's not like completely new people are stepping in. On defense they rotate so many players that all the replacements have good exp. That goes with the offensive line as well. As for recievers they have a ton of talent and Thomas will have a massive target in 6 foot 5 Senior Lavasier Tuinei. You guys are underestimating Oregon. If Chip Kelly can game plan for Andrew Luck who will be the 1st pick in the draft and could've been the 1st pick last year, I'm sure he can game plan for lee or hamburger. Luck is the best QB in college this year. The gameday panel this morning even said he's the best players overall this year. Im sure Chip Kelly can handle a plan for lee/hamburger

Wow! Say what you will about our fans (many of them ARE borderline retarded) but this is way dumber than anything I've read from our fans in the last week. And that's saying something.

Sure you guys could win. You've got some great players But 50 points???

Get. The. frick. Out. Of. Here.

I would worry more but I'm sure that I won't have to see you again after Sept. 3. I'll go ahead and log this away to repost after the game. But again ... I'm sure you won't be here to see it.

Best kind of insult IMO. Start it off level then go in for the kill.

They're bigger things to worry about than who the QB is...
