Hypothetical scenario: which assistant could step up as HC?

Let’s say Kelly just retires out of the blue and we are left in a bind needing a current assistant coach to be promoted to HC. Who is it and why?
Frank Wilson has to be the guy given his network and experience as HC although it wasn’t great.
Interesting note Frank left after 2015. Wonder if O wasn’t here in 2016 and Frank was, would Frank have gotten that shot when Les was fired.

I don’t get big into that whole DEI stuff but Frank being the first black HC in LSU history would be interesting and it could definitely help him more than it would hurt him.
Stuff is dumb to us but it matters to the recruits and their families.
