Based on your current vibe on O and the program, would you want Woodward to do whatever it takes to retain O?

We have enough divisive threads on O, thanks.

1). I don’t think Florida would try to hire O.
2). In the unlikely event this were to happen, I have plenty of faith that Woodward would make a homerun hire for a head coach vacancy.

This is the defensive line coach's last HC job, one way or another.
If he starts winning big here, he would be a fool to risk losing that by trying to leverage his perceived value. And if he doesn't win no major program is going to take a chance on him again.

Provided that O continues to run the program at a high level and expectations are reasonably met this year and every year, there are only two schools that would try to go after him should a need arise: USC and aTm.
USC, because of his ties and the fact that a lot of folks there thought he should have been considered for the position after his interim stint, and aTm just because they're aTm.
The only real threat would be USC. I think he would seriously use that situation to at least get a substantial raise to bring him more in line with his peers. He'd leave for USC if he had to due to money, but I'm sure Woodward wouldn't let that happen.
All this, mind you, if he first lives up to expectations.
