Did we miss this when it happened? What the...

According to a Q&A with ESPN, Garrett -- who's generally regarded in the public eye as a nice guy -- was asked to name "the meanest thing" he's ever done. Garrett's response: "Against LSU my last year, I choked out their tight end two times in a row ... He had it coming.

Our O-line choked him out all three years.

Maybe he means he put his hands around the TEs collar while he was on his back and we were running all over him

It's no fun being humiliated at home and being scored 54 on by endminger on your old DC

I think taking Garrett in the top 10 would be a massive mistake. He will get mauled in the running game in the NFL. La'el Collins abused him pretty horribly.

He's still having flashbacks about Lael Collins.

So, either he can't hold his temper or he is a liar. Some NFL team will pay that worthless guy who couldn't hold his own in the SEC millions.

Is that any different than fournette not doing anything against bama? Garret is a great player and will do good in the league.

So while admittedly cheating, he found a way to hold us under 60?

Checks out

Very talented player who played for a defense that never matched up well with LSU. Trust me he has the physical skill set to play at a high level in the NFL

Yes. Garrett disappeared in most of his SEC games, didn't he? What were his sack numbers in conference as opposed to the out-of-conference games?

Fournette struggled against the "same" great team three times (game plan did him no favors), but still put up good numbers against pretty much everyone else.

Seems pretty different to me.

has fournette gone on record saying he choked some alabama payer out? if so, i'd love to see it.

this was not discussing his talent, this was a jab about a guy who performed very little against us, yet chose us as his 'defining' nasty moment. appreciate you knighting for him though.

He got into it with Jeter on one of our TDs. on the extra point he and the other DE moved over in front of Jeter and fired off and knocked him down. Didn't see any choking.

Maybe Jeter told him dinosaurs were a conspiracy.

I don't think he choked anyone out.

However he did do something during the game that got the attention of the refs. I think he even got a personal foul for one. The broadcast never caught or showed what he did but they did talk about him doing something.
