There is a real logjam of talent there. Ideally (?), you would want to maximize each's productivity and minimize any wasted elgibility, e.g., Terrence Magee's playing time last year.

seems like we need help at LB and WR, those are the only possible options, bc we are loaded everywhere else.

also, make Magee your wildcat QB.

A lot of two RB sets would help, but as far as splitting carries, only 3 can get a legitimate number of carries in any one particular game.

I would definitely alternate series early between the top two or three to see who the hot hand for the game is. Use the bigger backs earlier and the speedier ones later to capitalize on a worn out D.

It's actually a pretty difficult (but awesome) problem to deal with in a way that satisfies everyone.

I'm happy with the 4 to 5 man rotation at RB like we had last year.

Seemed to work out pretty well.

If it aint broke....

Trade one for a big possession WR, or a really good linebacker....

Play the best two or three, run them a LOT and tell the others that if they want to play get better.

Make Blue a WR and let him shine with Mett!! He has good break away speed, I guess it all depends on his route running and catching ability but I think he might be a gem for us.

I think Blue has the chance to be our best RB this season, but if the coaches think his reps will be limited they need to move him to WR. He's too good not to be playing a lot.

I'd consider redshirting Magee and Hill if no one gets injured preseason.

This. I loved this formation the first time I saw it.

I'm leaning heavily in this direction as well.

Magee has already played. He cannot be redshirted. Hill can be though

Find the one that can block on the blitz from the backfield. Keep your slashers and bulls for certain plays and give them room to make it happen. Find the 2 that catch best and maybe 1 that can quick kick and pen a team inside the 10 if needed.

Or, just play the senior and cross fingers

Same here.

I wouldn't change much, if anything at all. I think Ford and Ware should flip flop though. Have Ford on the field more. Ware got beat up and got slow from the way he runs. He wasn't as affective at the end of the season as he was at the the beginning of the season. It's not a knock on the guy, it's just the way he runs, he's a punisher but it takes it's toll on him too.

Other than that, I really wouldn't do too much. Not sure about moving Blue. I like him at RB. Plus I have no idea how good his hands are at catching.

A player can be redshirted any year. Remember the talk early this year about a certain QB that could have potentially been redshirted because he played his freshman year?

This is my understanding as well. I think only Ford has been RS'd (not sure about Blue though).

Ford has been. I know that for sure because I wanted to see him play so bad right after he left high school.

Not sure about Blue either. I don't think he has been but I could be mistaken.

Ford is the only back that has been rs.

as for op I would alternate Hiliard and Ware early then mix in ford blue and mcgee

carries like this

Ware-12
Hiliard-10
Ford-8
Blue-6
Mcgee-4

total-40

there is usually 65 offensive plays for each team so that would allow 25 passes

Idk who they start with, but they all will see carries. Once again, when havent we needed depth there? I recall a guy who was basically the #1 get suspended. shite happens. Frank also stated how it benefits the players nfl career if they arent beat down in college.

That correct. A player can redshirt as a senior if he wanted too. As long as the player has never redshirted before, he can redshirt any year.
