No I would not. This team is prime ready for a title run. If they lose two it would suck depending on who they lose to and why. 3 losses would be bad. Bad bad. There is no reason this team can't curb stomp everyone on the schedule.

I wouldn't feel anymore. Only numbness.

Yes I do. This team has the talent to go far. All the pieces are in place. It's coaching coaching coaching that will make the difference.

10-2 will be disappointing but fully expected.

As long as Les is at the helm, our cieling is 10-2. 2011 was the only real outlier.

Plus, Bama is just better right now under Saban and Miles will find a way to lose that game.

I will say that losing again to Arkansas would be tough to swallow. There is no reason on earth they should beat 2, let alone 3 years in a row.

The fact that Miles is an Anthony Jennings to Travin Dural prayer away from being 0-3 against Bert should scare all LSU fans moving forward.

I expect 2 losses. I am a realist. And it doesn't matter if I am disappointed or not because my feelings won't change anything about the program

Two is possible. But also only one. We aren't going undefeated and it is hard to see more than three losses.

Follow up question what if this team goes 15-0 and wins the NC. Do people finally give Les the credit he deserves and admit they were wrong

Yes, yes I will.

Another thing is between LSU and Bama is we definitely have the edge on experience at key positions. And Bama has to play Ole Miss, us, Arky and UTk on the road this year. I can see why some predict that we will beat them this year. Now next year Bama will be unstoppable. The cream of the crop of their past recruiting classes will be mostly juniors and seniors. May be the most talented CFB team ever on paper.

OK, but you don't just curb stomp everyone you play when you play in the SEC West, regardless of your talent level. That's not how things work.

Losing to Bama isn't an option this year.

Neither is Arkie for that matter.

That's about where I see us. Best case 11-1 worst case 9-3 so I figure 10-2 is the middle ground.. We have a lot coming back but qb is still a question the changing d, how will our personnel fit, and of course do we get any innovation from the offense. My guess is no the o will not change execution can improve but the structure stays. That's why I'm going 10-2 and that's fine with me les only has a few years left before he hangs it up and I'm reserved to accepting this and riding it out until it's finished.

I have no problem with 10-2 if we play well. In the SEC there's a lot of reallllllllly good teams, and winning is hard. If we play a great game and end up losing to bama, and going to Florida and losing another close one that their freak show kicker hits a 70 yarder to win I'll be ok.

Exactly like that? So if LSU goes 10-2, you'll be embarrassed only to go home and change your pants? That's a really weird response

No shite sherlock....whats your point? You wanna backpeddle before the season even starts?

Tons of experience.....Aranda.....improved QB play.....favorable schedule = no fking excuses this year.
The only pass given is a catastrophic injury....knock on wood.

What if he wants to be the next Petrino or Bowden?
(I have no clue why someone would want to work into their 70s or 80s. You worked so hard for all that money, retire and enjoy it, jeez.
...but what if he does)

I mean that making a statement like "there's no reason we shouldn't curb stomp every team we play" is fricking retarded when you consider how tough our schedule is.

You are right . We didn't curb stomp any of the cupcakes last year and the schedule was not as tough. Yup looks like another 4 loss season by your logic. Like I said I'll take every win by one point as long as they are wins. And frick you. Lsu has enough talent to curb stomp anyone on the schedule. If we only had a coach that could make that happen.
