How would you feel about a 10-2 season?

Just wondering how fans would feel if we had 5 1st rounders and took L's against Bama and Arky.

ETA: For me it's ship or bust. If we lost to in the Playoff or a nail biter in the SEC championship I would be ok. I just wanted to gauge what our expectations are.

So we're all in agreement that it's either SEC Championship or disappointment.

Another question- Does Miles survive a 9-3 season

It seems unfair, but if we don't go better than 10-2 this year, we will never win the SEC west again under Miles. So I would be disappointed, to answer your question.

Does 10-2 win the west? If it does I'm all in because a 2 loss SEC champ could make the final four.

Would feel like a 10 day old balloon, deflated. But just enough air in it to keep it floating above ground, keeping positigers looking forward to next year (again).

I'm ok with 10-2 and those losses ONLY if it also results in an SEC championship and playoff berth.

And after doing some research, no team from east or west has ever even made it to the SEC Title game with two intra-division losses.

I don't see why anybody should be happy with that scenario prior to the start of a season where national title ambitions are within reason.

No. Bama goes 10-2 as well but loses to Tennessee and Ole Miss.

The feeling would be somewhere in between your best friend banging your mother, wife, and daughter in the same night... And taking a bath with no water. You tell me what's worse but the feeling of a star studded LSU team going a tumultuous 10-2 would be similar to the two examples.

Get to double digit wins and i'm happy. Not happy after a loss, but happy at the end.
That being said, this team should be a playoff team as long as Harris is a top 60 qb in the country.

How did you like Charlie Mac when he coached? He and Miles are almost twins.

Follow up question what if this team goes 15-0 and wins the NC. Do people finally give Les the credit he deserves and admit they were wrong?

Not this year. No way in hell would 10-2 be good enough. We have too much talent coming back to have another typical season. Leonard deserves a championship run, if we lose so be it but we better be in the championship. 7 projected 1st rounders in 2017... this is it. Because the next year will be painful, I'm projecting 4 or 5 losses the following year if we get purged like the NFL is saying we will.

And to the quote above me, Les will get some respect, but there is no reason we shouldn't be in any of the New Year's 6 or Final Four every year with the talent we get to school. We are top 5 consistently enough recruiting to not be there.

I felt the same way but next year won't be awful. Should have a pretty good squad. 2 years from now I wouldnt be surprised if were 8-5. QB recruting has went to shite.

Impossible imo. Bama (and Arky) would have to lose 3 SEC games which aint happening....unless we end up in a crazy tie breaker scenario amongst two loss teams.
