If he is let go, then Georgia or Clemson hires him. Clemson lost their DC to Oklahoma.
Our defense was much better vs Alabama. Heck, Kirby may hire him to prepare for the Championship games.

I think we give him another year. We need an OC much worse. We need to avg 32+ pts. Per game

You think we should make reactionary hires based on what other teams may do?

What do you do for a living? Just curious.

Lol UGA and Clemson aren’t hiring him based off 3 games. They might hire him to coach safeties

If we can get Elko, it would be interesting to see if he’d stay as an understudy with a shot at being the DC in 2-3 years when/if Elko gets a HC job

The fundamentals were awful across the board on defense. Like, “wtf is that LSU defense out there?!?!”

Tackling, namely, was just flat out bad. DL was bad, LB play was bad. Saftey play was the worst I have seen at LSU. CB was a saving grace….sometimes.

We didn’t blitz until after the Ole Miss game. How we all forget about Auburn. UCLA RB & TE are still running. Arkansas pounded us to death. UK’s offense looked like a track team covered in KY jelly out there. During the first few games we were having marginal success with stunts and crosses but I think the wash created confusion for our LBs and they would get caught up field so that stopped immediately. It was only when we had another coach discuss how obvious our schemes were that blitzing and creative blitz/drop backs started becoming apart of the play sheet.

I don't see Daronte's name in the top 75 for recruiters !

You don't win in the future without great players.

I think he has displayed enough for another chance somewhere else. Probably not a title contender, but maybe a SMU, Fresno st kind of school.

How do we know (everybody else ) that Oregeron was butting his nose in the defensive calls abs that’s why LSU defense sucked . Daornte started making the calls and the defense changed did the better . It’ also take times for the first players to learn the system

I don't know what personal information has to do with this conversation, but since you asked.

I left the Navy age 26, graduated college at 30, retired at age 56. All I do is watch sports, hunt, and fish.
Life is good.
How much experience did Muschamp have when he became DC at LSU?
