It looked hot as balls on TV.

Like a frying pan. I almost never leave games early and I left after halftime. It was brutal. Top 5 hottest game I’ve ever attended.

Section 419 was shaded all day. Honestly didn’t break a sweat. The shade provided by the new south upper deck is awesome.

I kept applying sun block 50 and still got sunburn.

Surely not hotter than Auburn in 2017? (or was it ‘15?)

Any pics of the LSU bench with the shade cover?

Appalachian State was brutal.

My seats are at the top row of 422. I sat in the shade all game. The first half.... not so bad. The second half ......hot.
I went to the concessions stand once during the game. When I was climbing the stairs to my seat and crossed over to the shade the temperature drop was noticeable.

From a Utah State board.

Yea it was bad. I was pouring water on my head in the north end zone. At least I had a few cold beers.

It was hot but not nearly as brutal as sitting in the upper deck in Jordon-Hare for the 2:30 kick last year. That may be the hottest I’ve ever been at a football game.

Same it’s been the last 6 months

After the half there probably was less than 300 students. Late in the third there looked like <1000 people in the lower bowl from the band to the visitors portal... The west side was not near as bad. I kind guessed a bunch of those on the east side came over to the west.
I ws fortunate to enjoy the second half sitting on the top row of the west lower and was in the shade. If you had shade you didnt even break a sweat

Thanks! I'll remember that. My hope is one day (soon) I can take my granddaughter to TS to enjoy an LSU football game. I'll make sure I don't do that in September or early October. I'll try to wait until after the first cold front home game. Got a long drive.
I almost pulled the trigger on this Utah St. game. That 11:am kickoff concerned me. Glad I didn't.
Thanks!
