Little Rock used to make Arky the worst trip in the SEC. Fayetteville is awesome! Its so weird how the fan base is so different from one place to the other. Fayetteville is a top 3-4 trip in the conference.

Holiday Express by campus

Fantastic - I have several Razorback friends. Ate at Theos (Awesome) and went to a secret bar on Dickson called Bens Apartment or something. Was fantastic

Its a private bar in the back of some bar. Where you have to use a key fob and the door is a fake cigarette machine where you have to pull by a certain sequence.... Anyway the bar is amazing, all oak, quiet, super cool. My friend is a member there. Apparently was a hotspot for your old coach where he would go get his drunk on in private.

To cold for true eye candy...

Little Rock is a dump

Arkansas campus and stadium remodel is beautiful. The stadium upgrades are amazing. Tailgate scene was good.

Had a great time.

Stayed a few blocks from the square at an air bnb. Overall was not impressed at all with Fayetteville. Ate dinner one night at Hugo’s. It was a very small dank dark basement burger joint. Food was good but atmosphere and service bad. Ate at the farmers table restaurant for breakfast which was good. Partied on Dickson street and around the square.. mainly jjs bar. Tailgating scene was better then expected especially given the weather. The stadium was very refreshing. New and renovated. However, despite it being nice it was not loud at all in the stadium. Didn’t really hear much unity from the Arkansas fans in terms of cheers. Loads of piped in music. Glad I got to go but would die a happy man if I never had to go back to Fayetteville

First time in Fayetteville...We had the advantage of some extremely generous and well connected hosts but it may be my favorite LSU road trip ever. Stayed at their house just north of downtown.

Flight into NWA was delayed a bit so we couldn't do the original lunch plan for Friday b/c the place was closing early (can't remember the name), so we went to Dickson and first tried Hugo's but it was slammed so we walked over to JJs - cool sports bar, surprisingly good food. Fun vibe for Friday game weekend lunch. Quality female talent.

Pit stop at 21st amendment for a couple drinks.

Rode over to Carnall Hall for a few drinks overlooking the arboretum. Cool spot, the inn would be a great place to stay for a game some day.

Dinner at Doe's with a crew of about 12 of us. Had a monstrous porterhouse. Had to split it, I'd like to see someone try and take one down solo.

Went to Ben's bar or whatever the private club is called. Loved the hidden doors/rooms, cigar area, etc. Some bartender from Poland (Cosmo?) made us seriously good cocktails. Home before 1am to rest up for Gameday.

Got to tailgate overlooking stadium about noon and made a crawfish etouffee that the locals appreciated. Great tailgate with TVs, heaters, bartenders etc...awesome time. Everyone made us feel welcome. Got 1 single "F LSU" and I would have been disappointed to not receive any ribbing so no problem.

Friend of our friends is Arkansas compliance staffer and they gave us wristbands to go on the sideline pregame. Enjoyed that. Then we went up to their suite for the game...great bbq and drinks out the cold was obviously clutch. Everyone there was incredibly warm and generous.

Postgame they had a private room for about 20 of us at Bordino's overlooking Dickson st. Excellent lasagna and cream of tomato soup. More drinks...

Quickly hit 3-4 bars after dinner before closing time (including some place where you spike ice shot glasses) and then back to the private club place for more drinks and my memory gets very fuzzy, Think we got home about 4am.

Ya'll have some great fans and great people up there. Beautiful area too. I hope Arkansas turns things around and starts winning again (except when you play us). Ya'll deserve a winner.

The End

Good time. Really like Fayetteville as it was my third visit. Cold as balls at the game though. Didn’t really eat anywhere spectacular as it was mostly drinking and tailgating. We stopped at a random LSU tailgate and was fed generously, along with alcohol. That group was awesome.

All the Arkansas people were great besides some dickhead sitting behind me that told me to sit down right after we scored a TD. But he quickly apologized after realizing how much an arse he looked.

My favorite SEC roadtrip every other year. Stayed for cheap in Rogers. Catfish Hole was cool, just kinda under seasoned. But we probably over season stuff in Louisiana. I love me some Fayetteville.

Stayed at Hampton in Van Buren. Great hotel for under $100, with hot breakfast and spacious rooms(we had 3 kids with us).

We ate shitty fast food with kids in tow.

We didn't tailgate and bolted from car to stadium at 520pm.
Walking into the stadium we saw some very under-dressed and beautiful Hog Fans/students. To be expected in the SEC minus MSU and Vandy.

My interaction with fans inside the stadium went as follows(we started in 522 but went down to 120):
- LSU fan puked all over himself by the bathroom behind section 120. The puke went up his coat sleeve when he tried to cover his mouth and it drained back down afterwards and several of us looked at him like "WTF where's that coming from?" Grossest albeit intriguing thing I saw all weekend.
- Arky fan puked while walking in section 522. Pretty impressive as he never missed a beat.
- A prudish LSU Fan judged me in 120 for sipping my Heavenly Hill Vodka straight from the bottle while sitting next to my kids. He gave me a sarcastic thumbs up and said, "Good job Dad...."

We love Fayetteville. We've been in 2012,2016,and now 2018. Razorback Stadium is a fine venue.
The drive is beautiful and stress-free from Baton Rouge.

I look forward to making a Baseball Series when the kids are older and not taking all my free time.

Two random pics from Saturday.

Kosmo is my boy, and Ben's is a nice break from the college crowd. Another seriously good craft cocktail place downtown is called Vault, up off the square. It's not private, like Ben's though. Fayetteville is a great little city.

It was a good trip. Cold as hell when we arrived Saturday morning, and cold during the game.

We went to Shots before the game. Smoking hot blonde bartender was giving us free shots.

Fayetteville is a really nice town.

So, on the drive up there, I was listening to Coast to Coast AM. The guest was talking about how he was abducted by aliens in Devil's Den. After the segment ended, I look over, and I see a sign for Devil's Den. Thankfully, no alien abductions that night.

I was a big tall bastard with broad shoulders hanging out with another big bald guy and his son.

We got there around 8p and left by 11:30 when it got crowded.

Really sad I couldn’t make it. Usually rotate hosting my swine frands and they return the favor with fay but I’ve moved. Easily the most underrated trip in the conference. Sucks I have to hate y’all ;)

Jesus Christ. Don has let the cat too far out of the bag. It's becoming too well known.
