Well when I spend a few thousand getting the family to a game like this... we're staying through the whole damn thing regardless.

OU/LSU broke the attendance record for the Peach Bowl.
ESPN.com has the attendance at 78,347.
Capacity is 75,000.
Something doesn't seem to be adding up unless some ticket brokers took a bath.

They were literally gone for the most part at halftime, and yes the seats are red and that could have fooled some. HaHa!

About 95-5 after halftime lol

The stadium sold a lot of SRO ( Standing Room Only) tickets and the stadium has 9 bars throughout, 2 sky walk bridges in the East endzone, both endzones open, field level sections for SRO ticket holders.

My dad and I tried to get some better seats in the 3rd quarter, since we saw plenty of empty seats on the OU side. Unfortunately, most of them were suite level, and the MBS workers were sticklers for not letting in commoners. It still worked out though, we got seats across from TGBFTL.

we traveled well. I'd say 70-30 lsu.
The ou people left early also. Most cleared out by end of 3rd

I would imagine that accounts for quite a few
(3,000 and change).
However, it didn't seem to be a sellout (referencing the 75,000).
I suppose between the SRO, actual seat purchasing fans in attendance, and the tickets held by ticket brokers, the numbers make more sense. Even with that, the numbers still seem a little wonky to me.
Then again, the Maffs aint my skrength.

It was at least 3-1 LSU to Ok. Probably closer to 4-1.
Red stands out on tv and empty seats look like Oklahoma fans.

70/30 LSU
I don’t think so.
Bunches of neutrals between the 20s. Both sides were empty by the beginning of the 4th.
It was fairly loud early but the domination took both crowds out of it.

LSU fans were at least 70/30 #iwasthere.

I’m going 70-30 us. Not considering neutrals. Good showing for quick return trip to Atl. Fans know we’ve got something special.
I expect our fans will represent well in New Orleans. 1/9/12 was different. Many knew we were in trouble with the AL rematch.

Probably 60/40 us. However, it was loud inside. Really nice facility.

the box with the flashing lights and moving pictures lied to you.
LSU dominated in the stands as well as on the field.
Got pretty loud when we were on D. 2nd half was either all celebrations (if LSU fan) or dumfounded shock and disgust (if OUt fans).
But plenty of noise for a neutral site for a half.

There was a huge sea of red on TV.
The seats are red.
I think the TV cameras were also facing the OU side. LSU side was represented heavily on our side. 70-30 sounds about right. It was pretty loud too. I was in 321

Thanks Jean-Paul and his extremely hot wife Danielle (I think)for the beer after the third, they stop selling...I didn't think about it, and needed something to calm me down
