It was really, really loud after Calling Baton Rouge ended. Shockingly loud. 2019 Florida was the loudest game post-2012 Bama but I think tonight surpassed that. This was the loudest game in 10 years, at least.

No traffic threads. Either it's flowing better or people are too happy to care.

Rain was gone by noon, ended up being a great day. The crowd was electric, especially in the second half. I don't think anyone in the stadium sat down towards the end of regulation and OT.

Tonight was 1997 & 2007 Florida, 2003 UGA and 2012 Bama loud. Bama had a number of penalties because of the noise and even our D was having trouble communicating at times because of it. I personally didn't see one person leave. Absolutely electric from start to finish.

Oh trust me, if that 2-point play had failed, there would be plenty of bitching about the traffic

I was wondering about this. Stadium looked packed throughout the game on TV and CBK complimented the crowd as well. Couldn’t imagine anyone walking out on this one.

The crowd was lit, whistle to whistle. Traffic was fine. Left after overtime ended. Took about 30 minutes before I was on the interstate.

It's amazing what happens when our fans believe we have a chance to win.

I know this isn't breaking news or anything, but when fans have no hope in the team that's on the field, that's when you get people leaving at halftime and before the end of game.

The way this team has been playing and being coached up, we have a reason to believe again. Something we haven't really had a reason to do since Burrow left.

We may not be the most talented team this year, but one thing that's clear, Brian Kelly and his staff won these players over fairly early and they go out and work their butts off for this coaching staff. I think it was obvious to the players left from the O era pretty early on how superior the coaching is from this staff when compared to the last and they wanted to soak up as much of that knowledge as they could, especially the players who are draft eligible after this year.

One thing that always surprises me is how little credit we give good coaches here at LSU. Maybe it's bc who we've won titles with in the past, but if it wasn't clear the last few years, it should definitely be clear now, that good coaching is a difference maker, especially when you think about who we had at the helm before our current coaching staff. What an embarrassment that was for LSU. The only thing O did that really made a difference was get Burrow here, which credit to him and his staff was a huge get. However, other than that, his tenure here was pretty much a failure and included way too many off the field issues that were also an embarrassment for the university. I'm not even talking about his side piece/gf (whatever they are/were) but things like him hiring Pelini and the fights they had and all of the other off the field issues that happened under O. Great leaders don't allow that to happen, or if it does, it's not made public bc it usually doesn't happen in public.

With that said, as much as I disliked O from the beginning, I still wanted him to succeed since that would have meant better things for LSU and I'll always be grateful to him for the 2019 team/season. As bad as a head coach that O was, that team is arguably the GOAT, which is honestly amazing considering all the downfalls O had/has as a head coach.

Anyways, got way off subject there, but yea - great crowd tonight!

How long have you gone to games? Just an honest question.

The Gump I was sitting next to said he never heard anything like it.

It felt louder than LSU vs FU in 2019 but maybe not as loud as LSU versus Tenner in 2000.

Loudest football game I’ve ever been to. It was louder than the saints vs rams playoff game in the dome.

2016 was louder, but I was in student section then. I also last night REALLY pissed off two old twats who sat and made no noise whatsoever.

Loud. My ears are still ringing…probably about 98,000 fans. A few empty seats but not many. Rain was not an issue, but it started misting in the 4th quarter but no one cared. There was exactly 4 seconds from the time we scored the 2 pt conversion until the first fans hit on the field. In less than 30 seconds, the field looked like canal street at Mardi Gras.
