I think it really depends what kind of grasp they have on it going into the game. If they still need work, I'd imagine that they show some cards for the purposes of improvement and confidence. If we seem to be in pretty good shape, we'll likely show little to nothing and just try to bully them.

I don’t know. Hopefully we add some toppings because I’m tired of the vanilla flavor. “Hiding the offense” is a ridiculous philosophy because it doesn’t give us an opportunity to put in work in real game situations.

I am hoping the first play on offense is the toss dive out of the I. Then second is the option to the short side. It would likely cause a purge of the negatigers and cause TD crash forever.

Frankly, I say run the whole damned offense.

It's not like we have a bunch of guys who have run a wide open offense for a year or two at LSU. The game speed practice > whatever some other team learns from watching it.

You should be confident in your offense. Against anyone. Or run a different offense. Throw the playbook at GS. Be better than them. And Texas. And everyone else.

If O wants impressive offensive stats by the end of the season, he needs to pad the numbers against crappy teams, something we have never done. A few Clemson-like 70-3 games will do wonders for our offensive ranking. Just sayin.

Not this again.

Jimbeam is correct:

No reason we shouldn't put 60 on these guys.

If you're confident in your offense you don't hide it.

At its essence, real football is a game of wills, not trickery. Yes trickery has a place but you don't achieve true greatness until your opponents know what you do and can't do a damn thing to stop it.

To me, hiding offense conveys to me that our coaches don't think we can win if they know what we're going to do. Run the plays you need to run to utterly dominate the opponent. If we can do that off of one play, then so be it, but hiding offense just to get through the week and use it on a "more important" opponent would tell me that they still don't get it.
