I generally stay the entire game the one, maybe two, times a year I get to go, because I don’t go often. The one and ONLY reason I don’t go more is because it takes me so damn long l to get home. It takes an hour just to get to the damn interstate.

Quit the God awful piped in rap music. Let the band play. We don’t go to tiger stadium to listen to a rap concert. Let the band play the traditional songs.

LSU priced out a lot of people when they began charging $50 to park half a mile away from the stadium and then closed up almost half the tailgating spots to force fans to pay for these ridiculous corporate setups.
You are referring to the Old Front Nine. Starting next year it will be reserved parking requiring a $750 season pass that you know will only go up with time. Parking in lots at reasonable rates or free parking requires long walks that older people just can’t or don’t want to do.

I hope Chicken gets these suggestions to the right people.
A lot of good ideas here, some bad ones. You can't start giving drinks away in the 4th quarter, that's one hell of a way to get people hit by cars, drunks starting fights, and general chaos after a game like last week. You could give people vouchers for the next home game, but that only captures people for a few minutes.
Red hat guy is a major problem. Every. Single. Game. The TV timeouts are beyond ridiculous. Any crowd momentum gets killed with 3:00 minute breaks to honor the 1947 equestrian team. Along with this momentum killer in the name of money, they pump in music as soon as those honorees get recognition, we can't see a single replay, and we can't check our phones to see what happened. I have a small group of friends out of town that I text anytime something happens that needs a replay, how bad is an injury, was it a catch, etc. Student section should be encouraged to boo red hat guy incessantly. Throw shite at him, I don't care. I hate that guy. I stay to the bitter end every time, but that guy needs to STTDB.

Exactly. The fans at mid field, both sidelines, started emptying at half back in the mid 2015's or so. One, a lot of those seats were being filled by the "heirs" of the original seat owners, a lot younger crowd. That group was not really interested in the games themselves. Those sections became party areas & by half, the party was carried on back at the tailgates. Two, those sections of the stadium also developed a cocktail party atmosphere, ladies dressing up as if going to a party instead of a football game. A lot of corporate seats there as well . ( i.e. no real loyalty to LSU ).Definitely a different mindset. Either way, leaving at half has become a habit & that's a habit, combined with the other issues described here, that won't be fixed. Winning or close games have little to do with it. I've seen too many SEC quality games with close scores at half, fans leaving at half. S.Car. & the Aggies, this year alone, LSU was either winning or with a one score lead & mid field was emptying.

1. Take out all metal bench seating & install quality chair back seats throughout all of Death Valley.
Pressure wash + dry all of the stadium concourse levels. Install solar powered/battery recharging fans to keep air moving to prevent moisture + mildew build-up year-round that also provides a better experience during Sept & Oct home (&some hot Nov) games.
Install new LSU/Tiger Stadium historical graphics throughout all of the concourse levels. Basically make walking around an enjoyable viewing experience. It would also bring back 100s/1000s of LSU athletic legends to the stadium to show their families + friends. Not to mention all of of the social media content that would be able to be posted in-season + year-round. The ad revenue generation alone is worth it.
Upgrade concessions quality without increasing pricing. There are still PLENTY of improved eating options in existence for the game price levels where we don't need expired/stale foods.
2. Scan all tickets out after the game is over for priority points towards priority points for Bowl/Playoff tickets, as well as priority/premium access for all other sports home/away/post-season.
For students, include priority points for "premium" student section seating/entry for bball/vball/gymnastics in the PMAC + Alex Box/Tiger Park.
In fact, do this for all sports to increase attendance + duration stays across the board.
3. Encourage/configure post game tailgating + "events/entertainment" to keep more people on campus & reduce traffic issues. If you have things for people to do post game for 45m-1hr+ after a game = you will have a much better experience.
Don't make it an extra longer day for people already working the gameday experience. Have a post-game shift of people.coming in to work it.
i.e. Post Game movies or next set of fball game watch parties in the PMAC & on the Parade Grounds with "Fan Fest" style activties. Bring in a bunch of LSU atheltic legends to sign autographs, take fan pictures, etc.
Entry with Game Ticket & pre-submitted list (to minimize non-game attending masses from showing up after the game to bring problems.
Ultimately, keep people ON campus spending money for concessions, activities, prizes, LSU Shop, etc.
4. Build Parking Garages with STRICT post football game contraflow expectations & parking space purchasing with understanding of where you are going to be forced to contraflow fans are preparing/planning accordingly.
A. Parking Garage on Old Front 9: Contraflow to Burbank eastbound (away from the river) with no surface street turns left or right until you get beyond Gardere for 90 minutes post-game. If you're going somewhere closer or that requires a turn = keep driving then double back OR stay on campus for a bit.
B. Parking Garage in the parking lot of the Ag Center. Contraflow to Highland Southbound & another towards the Lakes (with that left turn towards I-10 with traffic cops at the main intersections keeping things flowing for 90 minutes post-game.
C. Parking garage at River Rd. behind Tiger Park. Contractor North & Southbound only for 90-minites post-game.
You'll need need traffic police getting people up to I-10 Westbound as smoothly as possible.
A-C will ALL need proper staffing for parking space sales + explanations as well as regular website/social media posts + emails/texts to those parking purchasers as well as basic signage on the expectations. Additionally, LSU will need to put together a rather public campaign explaining the improved/intended contraflow so that non-campus goers are as aware as possible & will avoid trying to come near campus in any direction. They'll need to plan accordingly or sit & wait for the 90+ minutes.
There's no other "fair" way around it. You can't expect to add to the problems of contraflow because you didn't know post-game traffic exists...

Besides just winning, of course. But, even if we’re winning, the stadium empties out in the 3rd quarter of SEC games all the time unless it’s Alabama.
How do we Tiger Stadium back?
Win.....

Get rid of the rich preppy’s and make the tickets more available to the jimmy’s and Joe’s who really want to be there. LSU priced a lot of fans out of the stadium.

Start games at 11am so everyone is full of energy and bars aren't open

When they made it impossible for a typical family of four to go to a game, they lost the spirit of the stadium. (Yes, I know. Poors. OT Ballers. frick off with that shite. This is a poor state.)

A HC that takes control of the program and starts calling out the fanbase
Winning helps too
Revisit the terrible decisions on a DJ, Piped Music, etc.

Make tougher, more passionate fans, like the ones we used to have. Not a bunch of indifferent, apathetic pussies who are scared of traffic and need to leave early for assorted inane or invented reasons. That's the real answer. Its not that hard to sit in one place and cheer for a few hours. It really isn't. Lazy fricks.

Win. Produce offensive results that give you hope. Now if we are down 14 you just feel it is over.

But allowing more parking back onto campus would help with sentiment at least. I used to pull in and back up over the curb at the Greek Theater or if I came in Highland just back up on a curb at the Cow Palace. Free.
This!
It’s mainly traffic.
They forced everything to the levee. Allow tailgating along Highland and the frats to use their houses.
Maybe buy up some of the shitty neighborhoods north of campus and build a couple huge parking garages. Or, buy and use that vacant land on Nicholson. It would save a shitload of traffic from ever driving on campus.
