How short is O’s leash if Woodard comes?

O has done a fine job, however Woodard can sign a championship level coach. One where 10+ wins a year is a reality.

We have no reason to fire a coach who is improving from year to year
None.

26 miles and 385 yards

This year will be the make or break year for Coach O. Things are setup perfectly, and with a new AD in, will have to make a great initial impression the program is headed back to elite status or still stuck in neutral.
No he wont be fired after 1 year, but I do believe this year either gets him in really good favor or instantly puts him on the shite list with a new AD.

11-1 this year or he’s gone when he goes 7-5 in 2020 without Meyer’s QB

I swear you people are morons, get a new AD and let’s fire the coach who has done a good job, brought in a top class, and is starting a pipeline for Cali studs. frick y’all are making me sound like Ree, but come one man, realize what O has done

To be honest, this delusion is why they wanted Alleva gone to begin with.
It doesn't matter who the AD is, Orgeron holds the reigns in his own hands

I'll one up you Voodoo.
I say he has to lead the LSU Tigers to the Super Bowl in 2019 or he should be publicly executed.
I don't care that he has no actual path to the Super Bowl, a great coach would make a path and then win that fricking trophy.

Knew this was coming from one of you negatards

I don't understand all the "O's Short Leash" posts. Has he not done a good job?
Some of you suck. Like - so bad. You seriously suck as fans and I wish the program could somehow excommunicate you.

So if we go 10-2 this year with everything stacked to make a major run and then go 7-5 in 2020 you wouldn’t think it was time to move on?
Never change, Roger.
I know, your employers won’t let you

Let’s not let that little factual nugget get in the way.

I'd hope if Woodward comes in, O will be expected to meet his garbage sales pitch and will not be allowed excuse after excuse.
If he wins 10+ regular season games this year, he can get one more year. Anything less, and he should be out. He will have done absolutely nothing to improve the program at that point, and please save me the NY6 bowl. It has become less meaningful since its inception in comparison to BCS bowls.

It's not Apples to Apples. With Les the program was going stale. We were still recruiting well but there was no excitement and it was clear that the players were there training for the NFL and if they won a few games along the way then great.
O has this program going in the right direction. He's kept up the good recruiting and he is on his 3rd offense in 3 years because (unlike Les) he's not gonna just sit there and do nothing about his offense sucking.
Does this mean that O has all the answers and will lead us to a championship? No.
But it does mean that he should get a legitimate shot at it.

Doesn't matter what you or I think
But he wouldn't be fired
I know, that's all you care about

Yeah, because asking a coach to go 11-1 with this loaded and experienced roster facing as perfect a schedule as we will ever have is like asking a college coach to win a Super Bowl.
Poor O and all these expectations. It’s not fair!!!
