No, you're living in a dream, and did you notice that I said that without using any profanity? You should try it; it shows you might be educated.

Never really understood how using profanity shows a lack of education. More times then not, its used to show an expression of feeling. Then again, being educated could also include being open to the fact that there are alot of possibilities (good and bad) for this team.

So people can't express there feelings without using it? I'm not trying to be on some profanity protest, but it's pointless. Adding it as an adjective doesn't change the status of the noun.

example:

That's a big tree

That's a a big f*#$ing tree. or That's a f*#$ing big tree.

It's still a big tree.

I suppose you could say it's a very big tree.

Again, how does using profanity show a lack of education?

Never said I was trying to stop it, but does it have to be used in every sentence? I guess I just missed the days when people could have intelligent conversations without dropping expletives like some trashy Jerry Springer guest. Then again, you are who you are.

Movin on.

I still thnk LSU has a legit shot of winning 20 plus conf games.

WAAAAAYYYY too early to tell. I'm banking on us going about 18-12.

The fricking amazing teams in the 90s never went 22-8. I think a 17-13 or 18-12 season is more likely.

You have to remember we played 27 SEC games up until 1995, so winning 17-20 games was a pretty good winning percentage.

1998 - .700, 21-9
1997 - .759, 22-7
1994 - .778, 21-6
1992 - .750, 18-6
1991 - .704, 19-7
1990 - .740, 20-7

.700 of 30 games is 21 wins. Not unrealistic.

I can buy that, but you def through me off when you said 16-14. For that to happen there would have to be significant injuries, which could happen-this is baseball. However, I'm looking at what could happen if this team stays healthy. In every aspect this is the most talented team LSU has had in years. They also have a great coach. It's possible. I mean I never thought the basketball team would do what they have done this year. It could happen

I said 16-14 at the WORST. That wasn't my prediciton.

Too many good teams and teams that actually try to play baseball nowadays to post 22 wins in the SEC.

20 is possible, but it would be the best LSU team we've had since 1997.

More likely to see an 18-12 finish IMO.

Since we expanded to 30 games in 1995, only 2 SEC champions have not reached 20 wins.

19 wins - 2 times
20 wins - 9 times
21 wins - 2 times
22 wins - 4 times
25 wins - once

If we are going to compete for the SEC crown, we are going to have to get to about 20 wins.

That 2003 team got spanked in Omaha too. If this team gets 20 they'll be > than 2003.

What does this even mean?

This statement not only makes zero sense, but does nothing to prove whatever point you were trying to make.

with all the stats, numbers, and predictions that are being thrown out in this post, some people are forgetting one of the main ingredients in the making of a championship BASEBALL team.. and that is confidence.. if you have seen our tigers play ball this year in person, that confidence (swagger) is highly evident and with a coach like mainieri to keep them grounded, i believe this team could be deadly come SEC and NCAA tournament time
