53. I was there when the stadium was a dorm and there was no Neck. Students threw stadium seats and oranges instead. We would get to the stadium at 2:00 for a night game. Good times.

Late 30s here too. My dad picked up season tickets in early 90s and we went to every home game and several away through the shitty years. Never left a game before the band, and walked with them back up the hill to listen to the drum cadence every time.

Winning so much over the last decade has been great, but much of our fan base has become a bunch of entitled, shitty fricks. We deserve to get knocked down a peg or two. It brings more excitement to each game when we don't know what will happen week to week.

Some of the most unpredictable times were really fun. Barely squeezing by Vandy(Cecil's broken leg game) on a blocked extra point one week, beating #1 Florida the next, following it up with a bad loss to Ole Miss comes to mind. Lighten up, people. It's football.

63...
Don't remember when I first started going but remember listening to games on the radio. As Boy Scouts, we used to "usher" fans to their seats...usually got tips for carrying their bottles!
This isn't the worst of times...disappointing, yes. I remember always losing to another legend coach in Alabama, so this isn't new. With 24 hour sports, social media and the big business college football has become has changed our perception and expectations. As an alum and fan, I stay to support our team...win or lose.

The only reason to acknowledge bad history is so that we can prevent ourselves from ever allowing it to happen again, not to become complacent and allow it to happen because it has happened before.

Class of 84...Phi Delt...parents took me to my first game at 9 mos. Seen most everything at LSU in my time. What we're witnessing now with our football program is foreboding.

Pete was a year ahead of me. Was at LSU for 2 degrees...BS and MS. Last year Bert Jones hit Brad Davis with no time on clock to beat Ole Miss. Cholly Mac, Press Maravich days. I'm an old fart but that's better than not being a fart at all.

63 years old First game in person LSU verus the Vols at home. We tied them 10 to 10 we should have won that one. Inside the ten several times and Vols held us. Day game on the tube one of the few. I think it was like 1963 .

Anchored one of LSU best squads ever, imo.
I wish they didn't get hosed and played UT.

I am 27. I was 13 when LSU won the title in 2003. I basically ONLY remember LSU being at the top of the heap. Since I started really watching as a fan, LSU has played for the title three times.

I personally have never watched LSU suck, so this is going to be a rough ride for me.

61. I remember tying Nebraska 6- 6 in1976 when they were number one. Go to hell Ole Miss. When students got in free and never would think of leaving early. When students shook the stadium we were so loud and opponents feared coming in. Maybe we had less distractions and were louder.
