I have not been so extremely confident of a Tiger victory all season. That scares the living daylights out of me.

I've tried to not even think about the game for most of the layoff, but now that 2012 is here and the game is looming, Im starting to get the jitters. Honestly have never been so clueless about what is going to happen in this game.

Let me see if I can help you as I likely have about 45 yrs. experience on you. These are the major games (not all) I've worried about thru the years and "believed 100%" in my preconceived outcomes:

* 1959 Vs. Ole Miss; Cannon's run/goal line stand, we win
* 1967 Vs. AR (Cotton Bowl); LaBruzo two TD's, we win
* 1971 Vs ND (Tiger Stad); BJones to Cousin AHamilton/Casanova int. in end zone, we win
* 1972 Vs. Ole Miss; Jones to Brad last sec. TD, we win
* '73-'85; A foggy time for me
* 1997 Vs FL; Herb runs wild, we beat No. 1
* 200? Vs. Aubbie, we win and the earth shakes
* 2003 Vs OU; '04BCS title, Mauck-Vincent, et.al., we win
* 2007 Vs. tOSU; '08BCS title, Flynn, et.al., we win
* 2009 Vs PS; (Cap One); my one failure, we lose
* 2011 Vs. OR; TM7, et.al, we win
* 2011 Vs. Rebama; Brooks/Mingo, et.al, we win
* 2011 Vs. Rebama; '12BCS; don't matter, we win

There now, do you feel better. These were all games that the rest of the world and sometimes I thought we'd likely lose. But my clarity has, as in this game, always been crystal prior to game time.

WE WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN; no doubt in my mind's eye!

LSU will win because it has better players, better coaches, and the game is in the Louisiana Superdome.

You should be less clueless about this game than most since we've played it once already. You know what to expect. Stop being a bitch....we've won titles. If we lose, there is always next year.

i cant believe how confident LSU fans are right now

If the situation was reversed, I would think you would be more confident. Winning in our house then playing the NC in yours. Gumps would also be ridiculously confident IMO.

Two words that should make any Tiger fan nervous on Monday. Jordon Jefferson. Anyone who says they know what he will bring on Monday is either dumb or delusional.

Why? JJ has played lights out in every bowl game he's been in thus far...so has the entire Tiger team (save Penn St in a mudhole). I'm not doubting this team at all.

fr33manator- What you describe is what happens to me anytime I pull out my 3 or 8 iron. The minute I start thinking about it I look like Tin Cup at the US Open when he first arrived at the driving range.

Give this a ponder. If reality is fractal and near limitless outcomes can occur, then it is not so crazy to believe that giving birth to a thought of failure creates a reality where that failure is realized.

Honestly, I was a tad bit nervous until I saw Saban talking, and he looks tight as hell again.

With the layoff I haven't been paying much attention. More focused on the Saints.

I was feeling zero anxiety and didn't give a damn. I woke p this morning and in the middle of my shower got pumped up/excited/nervous/mildly sick feeling to my stomach. I hate Bama more than anyone.

I lived there for 12 years.
