uh

LSU has a ton of tradition. Just because you don't always win doesn't mean there aren't traditions. Take ND for example. They have a ton of tradition but currently just lack that winning record of the past.

You mean before Spurrier got there in 1966 and won the Heisman? Yeah, its only been the last 40 years or so that they have been doing anything \sarcasm.

lsu has been around since the 1800's. All i am asking is if florida football is a relative newcommer.

It was somewhat of a comparison to the times that LSU wasn't successful on the field but still had great traditions that we still carry on today.

Same with ND. They aren't as successful as they were in the past but still have great tradition.

I'm pretty sure they are currently 4-1. Back to the OT, Milk Biscuits.

Really?

LSU is not Bama or ND.

LSU does not need to rely on it's "tradition" to make itself feel better.

They started in 1906, have 3 national titles (96, 06, 08), 8 conference titles, and a 643-373 record. They have three Heisman winners (Spurrier, Wuerffel, Tebow).

Overall, I'd definitely say that UF has less tradition than LSU. LSU started in 1893 I believe, and we have 700+ wins, more conference titles, and three national titles.

Do you mean in football or the school in general? Because UF was established 7 years before you.

Florida is a charter member of the SEC, like LSU. Steve Spurrier won the Heisman there in the 60's. No, they didn't win the SEC until the 90's (partially because they were place on probation when they would have won it in 84 & 85 )

this isn't really hard to find...but i will name one off the top of my head

lsu's march down victory hill began in 1960 and according to our record, we were 5-4-1 that year.
