Varies on how much you drink and eat.

we camped at a campground on a small river about 15 mins from town for $15/night…place had showers, we brought ice chests full of food that we’d cook over an open fire, and basically spent all our money on tix to each game and one meal a day downtown. I love camping…especially when the evenings, nights and mornings are nice and cool like in Omaha…and we’d just gorge ourselves on 12 straight hours of baseball on the cheap. tons of fun.

Going next Friday thru Tuesday if we make it. Airfare, hotel, tickets=$1800-$2K

If you fly, stay downtown, and want good/decent seats it’s not cheap.
Sure there are ways to go for a good value though.

If you get There for first game and stay through the championship you could easily spend $2000 on lodging.
Food, tickets etc on top of that

I made hotel reservation last July using points and can cancel up to Wed. Booked flight out of BR for some and I using points. Booking car with points too.
So far I am in it for $68 of airplane fees.

Whew yea they are pricey! I’ve already resigned myself to the fact I’m spending some money if we make it. Have you tried flying into Lincoln and driving? Not sure if any cheaper or not but might be worth a shot

An arm, a leg and your first-born child. Here with my son from yesterday through Monday. Hotel one mile from the stadium but $334 per night. For Holiday Inn Express!! Luckily I had enough points for the first two nights.
Two tickets in the outfield cost me $350 and haven’t purchased yet for Monday’s game. Granted I bought them last Monday because I’m kinda risk averse on things like that. So it could be done a little cheaper but three nights and two games would easily run me $2,000 if not for my IHG points.

Unfortunately like everything the NCAA touches it turns into a money grab. 20 years ago you could buy a packet of GA tickets for a little over 100 bucks and go to nearly every game. Now you can’t buy one outfield ticket for that.

Yep. There are obviously ways to not spend and arm and a leg, but like every other NCAA event, it just has such a corporate feel to it. The CWS used to feel like it was Omaha's thing and the NCAA was just there.
