I grew up in Hoover, I do not consider it part of the state of Alabama.

When I drive to BR, I make sure to fill my tank in tennessee so I have no reason to spend any money in that god awful cesspit.

I'll only stop so I can piss on it before I get into mississippi.

None of my friends are from Alabama... this is no coincidence.

I don't talk to Bama fans... or auburn fans for that matter. For any reason unless I'm forced to at work.

They could be good people, but I don't care. They are Bama fans and they deserve nothing but scorn and disdain from the rest of civilized humanity.

I don't hate them like most LSU fans, I just hate how they claim too many championships.

Totally agree with you bro. Bama outside of the transplants like myself is divided pretty easy. There are those that went to Auburn, those that went to Alabama, those that went to neither and are Bama fans. Like I said their alums are not the issue. Its the toothless rednecks that fly the HUGE bama flags behind their trucks. I must have seen at least 3 today.

I think some of you guys take things WAY too seriously when it comes to Alabama fans which is a little suprising because I've always considered LSU fans to be some of the most fun loving SEC fans who have maybe the best sense of humor as a fanbase. When did you guys lose your wonderful sense of humor and start taking things so seriously?

I was getting gas in Mobile Saturday morning and the cashier said "Roll Tide" to me. I thought it was a bit presumptuous on her part seeing as I had no Bama shirt or Bama hat on but it wasn't that big of a deal. She said she made the comment to an LSU fan and the guy lost his #### over the innocent comment. She later said "what's the big deal? It's just a football game". Why freak out over that?

The vast majority of our fans ranks at top of the SEC in terms of passion and fun loving. Two tiger baits, and the beer flows like wine and all the Cajun food you want. Thats LSU fans. However, our rotten fans are rotten to the core. They are about as mean as Florida fans at times. Its always the sidewalk alums. I go back to Louisiana every other month and as soon as I stop whether its in Hammond, Slidell or Baton Rouge, I catch a ton of shite just having a Alabama license plate.

I could tolerate a lot more before moving here. When I move back, I am sure it won't be as bad.

I don't mind Alabama. Alabama LSU andFlorida push each other to be consistently in the top 10. Sure Alabama is the team I want to beat most every year, but that's simply because they're on top right now.

What I can't stand is people who live around here who are all of a sudden 'Bama fans now that Saban has started that dynasty.

And what pisses me off even more are "LSU" fans who know we're going to GET KILLLEEDDDD next weekend.

Have some balls people, tip your cap. Show some respect for Alabama, because god damnit they deserve it. But when they come to town, you better be geared up to stand your ground and cheer for the Purple and Gold.

Also, you said "perspective has been lost" when comes to college football. Yet you've posted on a football message board over 800 times. Pot? Kettle?

Clarification: I meant Alabama fans, especially those outside of their educated alumni, have no perspective on life outside of Alabama football.

800 posts in 6 years. I'm an amateur compared to most of these posters.
