How much credit does BK get for JD5?

He obviously saw something in him that the general fan base didn’t. This stems from the sentiment last year amongs the fan base on his inability to read routes etc. BK stuck with him and JD5 blossomed to a Heisman front runner and NFL blue chip.

No kidding. The kid was bashed relentlessly all last year. But to be fair he didn’t show the consistency you’d want out of a starter. He and Sloan must have put countless hours of work in for him to be where he’s at now. That and the OLine was great this year compared to last

Most of the credit goes to Daniels because he made the effort to follow the guidance of the coaching staff and work his but off to improve. He didn’t take criticism as a negative.
The reason I like this staff and BK so much is because it seems they offer that kind of developmental data to all their players. Those that run with get better at the game.

He deserves as much credit for JD as the criticism he receives for everything else.

Not really, BK did an interview a couple weeks ago and said when JD transferred here he did not know much about him and if he could even compete for the QB spot with the ones we had here.
What I dont remember was what BK said when he knew he had a live one.
The difference here is O had to recruit Joe hard. But you are right both can take the credit for them being here.

Week three of this season dumbasses on the scoreboard were still calling for JD to get benched in game. Now everyone wants to make sound it like JD was only criticized last year.
