I know everyone jumped on him for 1 miss tackle which albeit seemed to be due to lack of effort, but I can't recall one other reception on him. This stat is not readily available. I think he is having a great season so far and locking down his receivers. His tackling has gotten a lot better since his freshmen year as well. He is definitely not checked out.

Stingley released coverage to the deep 3rd safety. Safety was out of position.

Are you talking about the zone play, where his responsibility was the flats? That was on Burns. It was Half & Quarters to field side.

It was a zone coverage call where stingley had the flat and burns had that deep third. Burns blew his coverage. It's very simple.

Is this you admitting you were wrong or just making a snide comment cuz you still think you were right?

(You’re definitely wrong though)

If you are ignorant to zone concepts and defensive responsibilities, why do you comment on a subject only to be completely wrong and expose your lack of knowledge?

Sting covered the flat but Hester said the Sting should have had that quarter according to the coaches.

Stingley absolutely set the tone for the defense saturday.

Ive given stingley shite for his ucla performance, but he definitely showed what he can do against central michigan.

When he plays like that the rest of the team fed off of it, they looked like monsters out there.
