They are averaging 48. Hopefully lower than that. If we make the qb run and stay on wrs, I think we can hold them between 20-30 points.

Considering our offense will have alot of 3 and outs and the defense will be on the field alot, I'd say atleast 34 points.

31-38 seems like the range.

30ish

Offense will struggle early like they typically do forcing the defense to play most of the game.

Could be close to what happened in AL @ ARK last weekend but LSU cannot pass as well as ARK. Could easily see TN with 35-42 (49 would not even be a shock) for the game and jump up 21-0 in the start to the middle of the 2nd.
What makes us think our coaches will have the team ready to start the game any different than their preparation against FSU and AU? MsSt was up on us too.
And TN will keep piling on the points by the time we wake up in the late 2nd or middle 3rd.
Give the points seems like a sure thing for anybody that bets.

If you want to win, you better plan on scoring 40. That’s doable against our D but you really don’t want to count on playing ball control and keeping our O off the field. KY tried that last year and we scored 45 in under 14 minutes of possession.

Tenn will score 20 pts or less. This will be a statement game for LSU’s defense against a Top 10 team in Tiger Stadium.

Our defense is really only middle of the pack. And we will see it exposed on Saturday.

Consider we have played no offensive power as of yet.

Does not help at all that this is an 11 am start.

Tennessee 34 LSU 26

You probably need to check their average against decent teams this year.

In the two games TN has had against legitimate opponents, they have not started fast. They scored 7 points against Pitt in the first quarter and 3 against Florida.

They will likely get to 35.

We will need some big plays and turnovers. We also have to start a lot better than we have in any of the previous P5 games. An empty quarter and a half on offense isn’t going to cut it this week.
