2019 Fightin' Tigers will always be THE measuring stick

I could care less.
If Indiana wins the comparisons to 2019 LSU will be made and the Hoosiers will be falsely claimed as just as good or better.
If Miami wins, that sucks too because I hate the legacy of Miami from Jimmy Johnson through Dennis Erickson and beyond.
But the sun rises the next day regardless who wins and no one will remember in 2 to 3 years. Glory is fleeting.

I love Miami in this game. Indiana has a nice team, but Miami is more athletic basically across the board.
Thats scary because it puts so much pressure on opponents.
When LSU demolished Clemson, JB was a fantastic qb....but, we also had the best athletes on the field and ran around and over them all night.
Miami has a seasoned qb that can make most throws.....I think the athletes win

LOL. As the years go by, nearly every national champion team is going to claim that status.

So this stupid debate about 2025 Indiana vs. 2019 LSU officially ends.
One reason a lot of people consider Indiana to be good this year, they don't make mistakes. Indiana currently ranks 2 in the nation in fewest penalties per game and is first in turnover margin. That's data that backs up the assertion that Indiana is good because they don't make mistakes.
Compare this to the 2019 LSU team, LSU ranked 107 in penalties per game...lol and was solid on turnover margin ranking 15th.
The point is, despite LSU playing a lot more mistake prone football in 2019 they still dominate Indiana in scoring offense and played A MUCH TOUGHER SCHEDULE.

I am not insecure about the Indiana 2025 vs 2019 LSU debate so I will be pulling for Indiana. I don’t want to see “the U” win a championship.
In a year, 2 years, 3 years+ from now whenever they’re comparing the next “best team ever” it will be compared to the 2019 Tigers

I’ve never liked Miami so I’ve never really rooted for them. I like Indiana’s underdog story and Mendoza seems like a super likable guy. I’ll be rooting for Indiana big time.

Heart wants Miami
My wallet is screaming Indiana though

There is no comparison between the two teams so it really don't matter if Indiana wins.

Maybe you’ll learn how to in middle school.

i'm not rooting for anyone.
but we seem to butt heads with Miami during recruiting season more often, so Go Hoosiers.

Since I live in the greater Miami area, I guess I am rooting for the Hoos! I spent this weekend in South Beach and these fine folks were having a great time. Went to Fan Fest today and found it to be kind of lame for the 'Ship. Miami's marching band, rather, pep band (reminded me of Tulane's) was outclassed by Indiana's.

This Indiana team is really good and execute on both sides of the ball dam near flawlessly. They are a great story and I hope they finish it off with a win.
That being said, no college football team in the last 20 years is beating the 2019 Tigers after the NC game. They were getting better every single game, and if they played another 15 games, they would have finished 30-0. Unreal talent everywhere.
