I don’t think STM kids are as impressive as their High School résumé’s. Beginning to think the same about LCA. They do not play strong competition.

Catholic-BR, Westgate, Zachary, Brother Martin, Acadiana, Woodlawn-BR, Teurlings Catholic, Denham Springs, Alexandra, Jesuit between the two programs

There is some real disappointment among some Lafayette area coaches that the Cajuns don’t recruit locally like they think they should.

In terms of demographics, Lafayette Christian's student body looks remarkably like Lafayette's general population, unlike most other private schools. At least they did a few years ago when my kids went there.

That’s because nearly every Acadiana area coach has steered their best players to programs other than UL. They want UL to take FCS level athletes and send FBS level athletes to LSU (understandably so) or Miss St/Ole Miss/Ark programs.
They don’t want them to be Cajuns.

Has STM beaten Edna Karr? They just started playing LCA cuz they moved up in class to play better competition...the old man was not willing to play them...he said that it was cuz LCA recruited players...like STM doesn't?
