Bama “fans” born and raised in Louisiana with no affiliation to the University of Alabama are worse than child molesters.

In 2012, I was living in pearl river county Mississippi. The day after the BCS disaster, I was at the wal mart in Bogalusa. They already had the Alabama championship T-shirts there. I could not believe it. Had LSU won that game, I doubt that an LSU championship T-shirt would have been for sale in the state of Alabama. It was depressing seeing that rack of shirts for sale. A sad state of affairs.

Wait...11/10 if you remove a 1 on the first set and then subtract one on the second set you have to 1/9.

the better question is how many will kill themselves, or poison our oaks.

There were a ton of FSU and Miami "fans" in the 90's in every southern state. It has always been this way.

i know a family, husband grew up in Zachary, wife from Slidell. they and their relatives are all Tiger fans. they moved just outside of Hoover, AL and magically became gumps. asked why the switch and was told that living in Alabama you are either Bama fans or Auburn fans. i lost respect for these people as it affected their kids as well.

This is false. Lived in Gulf Shores for 3 years and never once thought about wearing that gaudy maroon or orange BS

Dude I live here 60% or more of Alabama fans have zero to do with that university. Absolutely nothing. It’s hilarious. I honestly thought about being a bandwagon Bammer last night for Halloween. Jorts, too small Walmart Bama tee, Budweiser tall boy, and the old school Tide box with a roll of toilet paper underneath. Whatya think?!? Just run around yelling “roll mfing tide” and laughing my arse off

It says a lot about the type of area that you live more than anything.

There is a certain culture that always runs with the front runner. It's kind of like having flashy tires/rims. They've been fans of several different NBA teams over the years.

Can’t wait for all of the “Bama fans” from Louisiana to cut ties with the program they claim. I absolutely can not stand the people that magically became fans as soon as they became the dominant CFB team.
What motivates one to pull for a team they have no connection to outside of ESPN? Is it attention? Shock value? I don’t get it
