It's pretty obvious the refs screwed up at the end against PSU. Still no guarantee LSU wouldve won, but refs robbed LSU of a better shot at winning.

I don't go for the field excuse. Both teams played on it. LSU's offense looked like crap on it, but in 2009 LSU's offense looked like crap every game. Can't blame the mud for making LSU look the way it looked in every other game.

Why is it every time LSU loses a game It's the refs fault?

auburn 06 was the only one that rightfully is blamed on the refs.

Absolutely.

I have to say though, the SEC refs have been pretty bad for a while. I'm still infuriated about the PP7 interception call that was missed on the field AND IN THE BOOTH in 09. Turrible.

I disagree. LSU had the ball FIVE times inside the AU 50 in THE 1ST half and got ZERO POINTS. You can say the refs[so-called] stopped them butstill, with the TALENT LSU had compared to AU'S, There is NO way they shouldn't have scored. BOTTOM Line IS the GAMEPLAN FAILED> Just sayin.

It WAS an INT. BUT that doesn't mean that LSU could have scored. They did NOTHING since the 1st quarter. Think about it.

I wasn't talking about the outcome of the game, just the missed call.

every single drive was stalled by a bad call. That's before you even talk about the "tip"

PJ dropping some truth. Did the refs blow the call on LaFell? Yes, did that cost LSU the game? No. Even with the calls and poor offense, LSU STILL had a shot at the end. Hell on the pass to Doucet, if JR doesn't under throw it a little its not tipped and Doucet may have scored on the play anyway.

Blaming refs is for losers.

it was a bad call but also a bang bang kind of play; pissed me off but I can see how they fricked it up.

Well, we also beat Florida in 2007 on a terrible call by the refs (the 4th down call on the last drive that was a foot short).

I got it. So it is impossible for the refs intentionally or not to make so many bad calls against one team that it has an effect on the outcome of the game.

The biggest reasons we lost to Penn St. were No Chuck the Truck and No Keiland Williams. No Murphy either, but...

And I'm not talking about crying over one call. The refs aren't perfect and will miss a call here and there. AU 06 was so blatant and so many calls that they fricked up against us that it affected the outcome.

Nevermind. Those were both first downs. I was about 6 rows up at that game and thought for sure that one near midfield was stopped short. Guess not.

Show me a game where the team in question makes no mistakes of their own then you can blame the refs.

The 06 Auburn game, if Hester hangs on to the ball, no bad call by the ref's matters. The pass to Doucet, a Russell under threw it b the ball was tipped. If LSU executes those 2 plays, then there is no controversy. Hell even with all that, if the last pass is in the EZ and not 3 yds short, we would have won. Blaming the refs is for losers.
