If you had to bet on it when do you think we get rid of him? Before the season, after the season, middle of season #2, end of #2, or finishes contract.

I think it will be after season #2 unfortunately. Needs to happen sooner but I don't think it will.

Prob after the year he is fired. He had to have already lost his running the d internally. O and others on staff have to take it over

Well, Aranda was a good DC and Mullen always made him look foolish and it would be a compliment to call Pelini a bad DC so we will probably give up another 600 yards this weekend.

With that said, if he is still coaching LSU after laying another egg this weekend then his tenure will have been too long.

It's hard to see a change mid-season unless the outside pressure gets too intense and the money to pay his ridiculous buyout is raised. But if he is fired mid/after this season, then there has to be some BIG questions asked of both Orgeron AND Woodward.

If canned, then O's track record of hiring coordinators is going to be complete shite. Basically, it will confirm Brady was the outlier...not the representation of O's ability to hire coordinators, which is VITAL to his success. So do you allow O to get another chance to spend big money on a coordinator the odds say won't be very good? You hate to say the HC needs an independent search committee to make hires for him. But is that really that far fetched an idea in this instance? One where the HC is totally reliant on great coordinators.

For his part, I cannot believe Woodward signed of on the absolutely ridiculous contract LSU gave Pelini. Even before the season started that contract was INSANE. LSU paid Bo "Aranda-money" even though Bo had virtually ZERO market demand. I was willing to give O the benefit of the doubt on the hire...until I saw the contract. Now, because of that (coupled with the pandemic) getting out of under that terrible contract is a BIG issue. One that was completely unnecessary.

He’s not getting fired this year, and if he were to be fired, it won’t be until after the season is over. Woodward really put us in a bad spot because he just loves to throw large amounts of money to coaches

Same. No spring, COVID, losing so many starters, implementing a new scheme. Too many excuses available to believe O and Woodward are going to admit they made a 7 million dollar mistake.

We have 3 coaches that absolutely no other Power 5 school would touch...Ensminger, Pelini, and Linehan. The only way any of these guys will leave is if LSU shite cans them, or in Ensminger’s case, he retires. No other schools will come calling for them.

After the season is over, O will make that decision.

If LSU keeps Bo for two seasons because Woodward inked a shite deal, LSU will have back to back losing season. This will not get better.

Let's hope the LSU politics have changed and the latter happens. As for as the other crap, every school was faced with the same shite.

Depends on this game and how the D responds

If more of the past 3 games, he’s gone at the end of the Season.

If they bounce back...

even if they fire the dude today, they have to pay him 6M. may as well see if he can get it on track---this season is already blown. depending on how much better the D gets by the end of the season should determine if we need to part ways.
