At one point O'Reillys would reset the warranty every time you got replacements. So on one truck I went ~6 years without ever paying, they changed that policy though.

Same with Walmart. Now the clock doesn’t reset. People always ruin shite.

Mine dies every two years. I've actually never purchased a battery bc the dealership warranty covers it. I have no idea why they die so quick but they keep replacing them. On my third one in six years.

Actually tired of it bc I've been stranded before bc of it. Can't figure out why either. Completely factory, OEM battery, not some cheap Amazon knockoff. Shits annoying.

No sir. Two twist off screws. Did it in the parking lot myself. Two from Auto Zone and one from Orielly.

Over the years I've averaged around 5-7 years for a new battery

Two new Fords had new batteries before each truck hit 10k miles. Whatever battery they put in it was garbage and likely the exact same battery they replaced it with. Under warranty but it was a huge PIA

I have had 2 F250s (4 batteries), 1 F150 and 2 Ford Explorers. Ford Motorcraft batteries are absolute junk. All of these batteries were dead inside of 2 years.

When I bought my 17 Ram used in 2021, it still had the OEM battery. And that OEM battery died three days after I brought the truck home. So 5 years.

I've seen it mentioned and just fact checked that the bulk of car batteries in N.A comes from three supplier's and just get relabeled.
