This is a rebuilt line and team with backups. They're really beat up.

LSU loses Dellinger and he becomes a reason or excuse for everything that goes wrong on offense the remaining games of the season. Not close to championship caliber. No depth and look gassed after 3 quarters.

Because Denbrock does not confuse them with a complex zone blocking scheme that they cannot execute.

across the board, but Oline leg strength needs a lot of improvement. I am so tired of our center and guards being pushed over backward into Nuss' lap.
But I think we need a real OLine coach. Davis is not it....and I can't say he is a great recruiter either, but our Oline needs more toughness, strength, meanness, technique and quickness....and that is not an exaggeration.

We haven’t been a physical football team since BK showed up. He leaves ND and they play physical as hell now. Interesting

BS

Brian Kelly’s 2022 team that he threw together last minute was much more physical than Ed Orgeron’s 2020 and 2021 teams.

Were all of you idiots in a coma back in 2020 and 2021? Brian Kelly’s first 3 teams would have blown the doors off of Ed Orgeron’s last 2 teams. We’re trending upward right now.

Even if Ryan Day wins this game, it will have taken him 6 years to deliver his first national championship to Ohio State. Building a program takes time.

Right. He recruited a lot of the players currently on Notre Dame’s team.

I think 5 of 5 if you want to count 2022 class.

3/5 if you don’t..

I never said O was better, I just said BK teams are not physical. Did you watch our games? We cannot run the ball in short yardage at all. The defense the past 2 years speaks for itself. We got blown off the ball by fricking USC for Christ’s sake. I watched Les Miles teams for a decade, I’d say that gives a good frame of reference for physicality. Our identity is now that of a finesse program instead of a physical one.

I say it’s a personnel problem that’s a residual impact of Ed Orgeron’s last 2 years when he completely the depleted the roster. It’s not a coaching issue. Brian Kelly had plenty of physical teams at Notre Dame.

We should have a championship caliber roster again next year, man. Try not to give up so easily and be a prisoner of the moment.

They blew their wad early and now have nothing left in the tank after that huge adrenaline drop… see if some peanut butter jelly Sammy’s can bring them back around after half time.

Yeah, a drive where Ohio St DC sat back and let ND run 18 plays with 6 in the box

No filled gaps, no pressure

Vs a QB that has as many rushing TDs as passing and no real WR threats or a plus passing game

Day should have been up in that DC’s arse, and maybe he was. Took 20 plays for Ohio St to send an extra defender and ND has less talent man to man

Malpractice by their DC

and here we go, the idiots are just starting to stir.
I mean, he's got a point. Brad Davis is a bad arse recruiter. We have a lot of highly rated recruits , yet for whatever reason, we're unable to produce a consistent running game. Something isn't right there. Either it's Brad Davis or the playcalling/scheme.
