To the original question:
He's willing to fire an incompetent Coach Peveto.

this is a poor gauge considering the time Miles and Co had spent in the offseason and start of this season putting in their packages.
There is no excuse whatsoever seeing Guice with only 2 carries in that game.

You seem really butt hurt per usual.

Miles won SEC and National Championships while coaching against Saban and Meyer EVERY year. O went 3-21 in the SEC so there's that

Where was the plays with LF and Guice in the same backfield? They are our most explosive players. Get them on the field.
Why did they try to move the pocket for Etling? They knew our oline was gonna struggle against that front 7 and they did nothing.

We just hired a coach that has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program and expect him to produce in the most talent rich division in cfb.
Its a sad day to be a tiger.
Our AD doesnt realize that there were more qualified candidates between Jimbo/herman and a career dline coach.
Sad

O acknowledges that change and updating of the scheme is necessary. Miles just agreed and did nothing. As far as I can tell, O does what he says.
ETA how can you not see the difference? Unless it's because O isn't Herman or Jimbo.

While there is plenty to rail on Coach O about you don't have to resort to making things up. That's the problem I have with your arguments.
That is completely justifiable to be upset with the lack of a coaching search but that is on Joe. Coach O did what he was supposed to do to try and get the job, Joe didn't have to hire him. And from what it seems Joe didn't even interview anyone besides Orgeron.
Coach O's philosophy hasn't been on display to judge here except for the mid season changes he has made which for the most part seemed appropriate.
Your real problem it seems with Coach O is you feel he is stupid because of the way he talks.

Gotta wonder if this is a real question or just one more piece of evidce proving how little some "fans" actually know.

They both recruit well. O is a defensive line coach (not defensive coordinator). Miles is an offensive line coach (not an offensive coordinator).
Both are dependent upon great coordinators. I think O can do as well as Miles...not better.
It's the exact same hire.
Exactly, they are both men, both are married with kids, both have two eyes, two ears, two legs, and both are coaches!
The similarities are spooky.

So Slow and Rick please answer this as convincingly as you can. If Mike Gundy or Larry Fedora is hired do you really think they will keep LSU in the arms race of the SEC for any extended period? What about them tells you that they are capable of recruiting against Saban and the rest of the SEC coaches? I used those names but that is just to cover any other of that type of second tier coach we were left to choose from.

A LOT DIFFERENT! He is not stuck in the Bo Schembecker offense and micromanaging the play calling with stubborn and stupid, no imagination no deception play calls. And he is willing to make coaching personelle changes based on performance. Have you not watched the offense since he left?
