SIAP

Go look at his stats side by side with everyone else on that list.. it’s a fricking joke

42 tackles through 8 games. Come on

And Mack Wilson (how would Alabama not have two guys in this list, it’d be disgraceful for them not to) has 34...

D white has 76, Im not too good at math, but white has the same amount as these two gumps combined
Yet somehow a gump will win the award

Reminiscent of when te’o won it over minter

Maybe because they only ever play half a game.

Ehh, don't worry bout it. White was way ahead of where Moses is as a sophomore. Moses will be a great pro, but I don't see him going top 10 next year. His loss. Aranda doin work on these LBs!

Another “bama bias”

No way any other linebacker gets on this list with 40 fricking tackles through 8 games

Te’o
113 tackles
5 for loss
1.5 sack

Minter
130 tackles
15 for loss
5 sacks

frick you

And don’t give me that bull shite about them making to the championship, they got dismantled as a defense

No. Te'o was beneficiary of several tipped balls that deflected his way so that gave him the edge due to interceptions. How well did Te'o play against Bama?

Exactly. They're on the list because they've played 50-60% of the snaps of the others. They also play for the #1 team. All of these awards now are a mixture of personal performance and team record.

The only thing Te'o was far superior in compared to Minter was interceptions. He had 7 to Minter's 1. Te'o also had 2 fumble recoveries with no forced fumbles to Minter's 1 forced fumble and no recoveries.

That's it. Everything else is in Minter's favor as you mentioned (corrected the sack total).

didnt Teo also have quite a few interceptions and FF? think he found the endzone a time or two as well, and at game changing moments. Minter didnt have those stats to back up his tackle numbers

He did not find the endzone, not even a single time let alone two.

If the only argument on this board is te’o had more interceptions then that proves my point. He also had more invisible girlfriends, does that pad his stats as well?

With all respect towards Minter , Te’o also had 7 ints that year . That’s unheard of for a linebacker.

I see this has been discussed already.
