The older I get, the less I care.

This isn't a personal attack at all. I hope you can come to realize how stupid this statement is. You actually let the coach ruin your love for LSU football?
when you have 25 future NFL players on your team and you lose 4-5 games it becomes sad because you don't get those years back.

When I was In school I was Just super anxious that we win and win now but since I graduated I fee Like so long as we win 1 or two before I die That would be cool.

Have had football season tix since 94 when I was 3. Fell in love with LSU baseball in the 90s. Growing up guys like Eddie Furniss, Brad Cresse, Brian Tallet, etc were my heroes. And the football game outcomes affected me admittedly too much up until I was around 24.
Nowadays I am still a huge baseball fan but have become numb to LSU football. Yes it slowly started after 1/9/12 but I lost interest after the way Joe Alleva handled the firing of Miles and hiring of Orgeron. And my first child was born last year and nothing else seems to matter much to me now.

Im still a diehard but my enthusiasm has been tempered since O took over. I still adamantly follow shooty hoops and baseball. But there is nothing like LSU football. I’m hoping the next coach will be an exciting hire and reinvigorate me. Or that O succeeds of course.

The hiring of orgeron hAs really lowered my excitement and fandom. If the AD doesn’t give shite and hired the most unqualified guy then why invest money and time. Im pretty meh about football

I still can’t believe that the team I love is now led by Ed Orgeron...it’s still surreal!!! WTF happened?!?!

My Sundays were ruined after a lsu football loss. Now, when they lose, I am frustrated for a little bit but then it wears off and I'm over it fairly quickly. To answer your question - I was a die hard fan turned into a well-grounded fan.

I started mellowing out in college during the '98 nosedive after watching a guy go completely ballistic and freak out his girlfriend to where others had to take care of her and get her back home. It's just not that important, and since then I get more frustrated than mad, if ever. Then the oldness as everyone else says, it comes with more distractions and more things that are actually important. But I'm still addicted to following the action.

I know way more about everything now due to the change in information access compared to the past. I guess the only thing that has changed for me is that losses don’t affect me like they used to. The first loss of the football season used to leave me pissed for days, sometimes weeks. Somewhere along the way I’ve gotten better with that and come to accept that in the end it’s just sports.

January 1,2012 did me in. I have learned to settle down since then.

I used to like Nick Saban. Now I don’t.

Les Miles kind of ruined me deep love for it. Coach O has done some things to win it back.
I'm on the other side of that coin. Miles aggravated the hell out me sometimes but I was a fan and I enjoyed his time at LSU. The team was competitive most games and for me, the games were enjoyable.
O on the other hand, has ruined it for me. He showed a lack of leadership prior to the 2016 Florida game after the pre-game fight and things went downhill quick as far as I'm concerned. The team started the season as soft as charmin. Hires a coach then fires that coach because he can't make the relationship work. One week he wants one kind of quarterback, the next week, he wants a different type of quarterback.
You don't like the type of offense he wants to run? No problem, wait around a month or so and he'll eventually come around to wanting to run your style of offense. And his style of throwing players and others under the bus just makes me cringe.

Still not where it used to be.
Same here. perhaps when a new coach is hired my outlook will change.
