I could not care less about the Saints, or New Orleans for that matter. Ghetto town and ghetto team.

You don’t understand how ties alter rankings do you? 23 teams have drafted more LSU players than the Saints have. Saying they’re 8th is misleading.
I understand how to do that, I read it differently and can see how the original would seem misleading. Not sure the proper way to word how I read it but basically understood it to mean that the amount of players drafted was the eighth largest number of players drafted (which is also wrong, actually).

You could care a little less or you wouldn't have even read the thread or responded.

Real Bengals fans hate you bandwagon fans that support them just cause of JB and JC
This is stupid. I am not an nfl fan or of one particular team, I am a fan of where LSU guys go and their success. So that might lead me one week rooting the bengals, next the Vikings and the next the Pats. My loyalty lies where our guys land, that’s it. The super bowl was great for me, great game and former tigers won either way.

Long time Saints hater
At least you were honest.

By and large this may be true but Payton absolutely had an axe to grind and didn't draft LSU players intentionally

love TM7 and LSU but the Saints/NFL/BLM can continue to choke on a bag of Goodell's.

I’m pretty sure the issue is not the last 20 years, just the era of last head coach.
All I can think of is Will Clapp and Al Woods. Who am I missing?

Never been a huge Saints fan but I will be a bit more of a fan this year.
I want to love the Saints but just didn’t grow up a fan and it’s hard to force myself to really be a fan if that makes sense.

That Brees/Payton era were awesome, and that 2009 Saints Super Bowl season is my favorite season of any of my favorite teams, in my life. 2019 LSU and Astros in 2017 are tied for second
If that 2009 Saints Superbowl was more important or satisfying to you than LSU's 2019 15-0 National Championship, you're not as big of an LSU fan as you claim to be. That season and that team will be forever remembered in sports history as one of the best ever.

Either you stand for your beliefs, or you bend at the knee and be a coward. I value my grandparents over the lebrons and fat, tatted, blue haired freaks. They brought politic into it.
I am. I was a Saints fan before all that bullshite. You sound young. I despise all that shite you mentioned, but I’m also old enough not to let it bother me. I won’t let silly stuff run me off of my childhood team. It’s all a clown show and they only win by taking something you love. I still enjoy the Saints on my own terms. I still stand for the flag, I don’t pay attention to what Lebron thinks, I don’t watch the news, Blue haired freaks aren’t in my living room while Im watching the game, the sun still rises every morning.
You’re obviously the only one who bent and lost something. You can’t even talk about the saints without going all political.
The moment you ignore the bullshite, stand up for what you love, you’ll start to beat them. Remember, they ran you off, you didn’t leave. Your definition of coward is twisted

Im 62 Skippy. Step dad bought me to 1st game in 66. He got season tix in 58. I inherited them in 89 when he passed. Kept them til 2008. He was a graduate of LSU. It was LSU and no other team. He would've done the same. He was probably rolling in his grave when they lit the stadium for Floyd. I started losing my passion earlier. The firing/not firing of Miles. Hiring o, who absolutely no 1 else was going to hire. Then Eric Reid kneeling. Fournette wearing Alton Sterling shirt after 4 BRPD officers were murdered by blm. Greedy not playing in a meaningless bowl game. I had lost the passion. I wish I did still have it. I like watching the games, just don't care who wins.

I pull for LSU players on various teams in the NFL. I am not in love with Saints and never have been even though I grew up on the North Shore.

Please name specific examples of a time he drafted a non LSU player where a LSU player would have made sense. The only time I can think, and I have already mentioned it in this thread, is Jarvis Landry

I didn’t think this was real until the Patrick Queen snub at a time they desperately needed LBs and instead decided to way over reach to take Ruiz after taking McCoy the year before.

My view is that while I am a lifelong Saints fan, they're in for a hard crash this season. If you don't have a QB in the NFL, you're toast.
Jameis has talent and had us 7-2 before getting hurt last year. By all accounts he’s been working his arse off this Summer and in camp too. Saints defense will be nasty again and they added a bunch of needed weapons on offense.
I think the Saints might actually be pretty damn good.

I’m definitely more interested this year.

Is that why we passed up on Landry to draft someone that never played? I’d have to go back and look but they took either the baptiste guy or a qb that was never going to play in the nfl over one of the best all around players LSU has put out.

think both political sides were, and still are being stupid on that subject.
I mean one side doesn’t wear a name of a dude that raped his gf, try to steal her car, and try to attack officers with a knife after said gf called the police.
But go ahead.
