I can’t help but think about it every now and then. Obviously he was supposed to leave but could you imagine...

No. No I can’t imagine.

I like to think about reality and how we’re a good team without the help of fictional scenarios.

Perhaps it is exactly what the offense needed. It can be argued that the offense relied too heavily on the rushing attack. It may have contributed to the lack of development of a passing game.

If we had Guice, would we be throwing the ball as much to true freshman wideouts? I agree that Guice would be great but at the expense of an improved passing attack. I think for the first time in a while we have a balanced offense.

I was telling someone this the other day. Having Fornette and Guice might have hendered us on offense sometimes more than it helped us. 3rd and less than 5 we were going to run it. Fans knew it, players knew it, coaches knew it so we got stuffed a lot of times. But I can't blame the OC for trying though because at any given time either back could break a huge run. But I can't imagine having either RB like LF7 or Guice this year with an actual passing attack. It would be unreal.

With Guice, we would be more explosive on offense - not just running the ball, but he would open up the passing game even more (I think).

But if I could add one player who many thought would be at LSU, I would take Ed Oliver over everyone. Our run defense would be much better, plus he is an interior D-Lineman who can get after the QB consistently.

Clyde Edwards Helaire is our 2018 Guice. So similar. Doesn’t have quite the break away speed but 4.5-4.6 is enough. Plus the 4.01 shuttle is what makes him a legit sec back.

Yeah, I don't recall many plays where RBs could/should have done more.

Maybe Guice doesn't get caught from behind like CEH on that bit run, but it's marginal.

Brah, we have the THUNDER and the LIGHTNING. Not to mention that opposing teams aren't coming in to games solely focusing on a feature back and making life more difficult in the trenches. Ill take the combo of Burrow, CEH, and Brossette all day

Same. In fact, I have not seen anyone so effective as Brossette at finding a crease and taking advantage of it since Charles Scott. No jukes-just find it, and run straight down hill. I love it.

I agree that LSU would be a different team with Guice, but I am not sure they would be a better team. LSU's Chemistry is the best it has been with the players currently on the roster. LSU has at least 2 great SEC level runners which each bring their own style to the ground game.

I'd rather have Chaisson healthy.

Barely better than they are now. Maybe worse. He singlehandely lost the Florida game two years ago. Maybe if we had Brossette in the game he would have run the right way. Had we done so, perhaps Orgeron would have had the confidence to go for the TD against ND. Maybe we're two games better that year without Guice.

this. Loved Guice but plenty others I would have rather have right now. CEH and Brossette are holding it down at RB. Our oline is maxing out its talent right now but imagine Ingram doesn't get suspended and Weathersby doesn't stupidly declare for the draft.

or if Oliver doesn't inexplicably sign with Houston when he has been pronouncing his love for LSU his whole high school career
