Sorry. We are all pulling for LSU, but Miles should be getting better as his experience increases, not stepping backward.

He is responsible for all
things related to LSU Football:

recruiting,
development,
scheme,
in-game adjustments
clock manageme......never mind.

He's had enough time. Other SEC coaches with less talent are passing him up and it's time to produce after the slump he's had.

you have a coach that has coached in two fricking national championship games in 10 years

I wouldn't exactly call what he did in the last one coaching; was more like best view to a train wreck!

If we had a QB/coach we'd be right there. Since we don't we are stuck in the rest of the mediocre pack.

Depends on how you look at it.

Pumpers will say that he won a national championship 7 years ago while:

LSU fans look at trends. Take the last two years for example. What is his record? What is his SEC record?

He's still got the keys to the Porsche (one of the best recruiting advantages in NCAA). I hope there is a chance he will be able to tell us Miles-Bashers to shut the frick up....I hope he does it while holding that trophy, too. I'd admit that I was wrong and come get my whuppin too.

Yeah, porous defenses, lack of ball security, stupid penalties, I was real impressed with both these clubs

It was a down year for LSU and the SEC in general, but this game was not a quantum leap forward for college football.

In terms of sheer talent, from top to bottom, our team isn't as strong as Bama, OSU, FSU, Oregon and a few other schools. But even more important, our coaching staff simply hasn't coached the players up the way Bama, OSU and others do. Jesus Christ, a team like Arkansas could well win the SEC West--or at least be more competitive--with a roster half as talented as ours. That's called "coaching 'em up"and I don't know that, OVERALL, we do nearly as good a job of this as some of the other SEC coaching staffs. To summarize:
• An overrated roster
• Players not sufficiently coached up
These are the things that keep us far away from a playoff berth.

This year our talent wasn't equal. I wouldn't even say last year's talent was equal.

I do think 2015 and 2016 will be very special for us.
