Yep. That was three seasons ago. The defense was one of the best LSU has ever fielded. This years squad was shredded by the ground and pound of Arkansas, the spread of Auburn and Miss State. LSU could be good next year. It depends on how much Harris develops.

Maybe simple is better at the college leve
I believe it is at the qb position. The coaches just dont have enough practice time (20 hours a week)to perfect an offensive scheme as complex as the prostyle.
Dual Threat qbs have rarely gone through reads in highschool and we are asking them to not only go through progressions but do it while taking 3,5, and 7 step drops.

So it may not be a QB issue as much as the QBs aren't right for this complex system. Which is what I think you've been saying all along.

We had a Qb last year and didn't sniff the national title.
Mehh.. You guys seem to be looking at W-L and not taking into account how close we were.
We stop bama on that last drive in 2012, I firmly believe we play/win NC.
OBJ doesn't muff that punt against Georgia in 2013, and we play defense on that last Ole Miss drive (or Mett doesn't go full retard) we might have won the west.
But 2013 was a Beckwith away from being at least 12-1.
We're close.
Several lucky breaks plus Jennings..
Or 2 lucky breaks plus a decent QB.

We are way behind the curve now and there is no catching up. Having the recruiting success and outstanding players will not produce a winning national team without the coaching and play scheme to do it. We do not have that. We will not have a 10 win season again in this decade. We are on the decline...slow but sure. IMHO...I hope I am wrong.

We need to chunk Miles and his disgusting offense; put in Harris; hire a decent DC.
Lsu has 9 top 5 finishes in our entire history. Miles has 33% of those. Lsu has 11 ten win seasons in our entire history and Miles has 7 of them.4 of the last 5 seasons we finished in the top 15 and 2 of those seasons we finished in the top 8.miles has played for the national title every 4th year and wins the sec west every 3rd year.
And you want him fired?
I hate our ignorant and entitled fan base.

We are there, just subtract AJ.
It's a bit more than that, bro.
Something needs to be done about the early departures. I don't buy into the "Les sells the three and done to recruits."
We have one linebacker.
We have a mess at quarterback with no sure remedy in sight.
Dline is not performing.
Special teams got Malveto'd.
It all boils down to the head coach. I hope he coaches his arse off next year.

Its been proven our scheme and coaching works fine. This scheme and coaching just gave lsu its most successful 10 year stretch in lsu history.

Wow. Are you serious? We just had 4 straight top 15 finishes.miles has 7 of our 11 ten win seasons.

I said in my first in this thread that we have to stop recruiting dual threat qbs to run our prostyle offense.

Another rant myth that has zero evidence to be proven true. During timeouts i see Kragthorpe talking to AJ. Kragthorpe is on the radio with Cam.not Miles.

Coaches that recruit AND develop quality players in a sound scheme.

I think you are in the running for one of the top 10 worst posters on this site, and top 5 most knee jerk/over reacting posters. I'm not sure why you call yourself a doc. Clearly, after reading your posts on here for months, you don't have the intellectual capacity to be a doc.

good god....I swear there are some real idiots on this site...I know we all are aware of that...but posts like this....you have a coach that has coached in two fricking national championship games in 10 years, yet you have absolute complete idiots on here saying we don't have the coaching.......I just can't imagine the intelligence level and IQ of some of you irl...seriously.

this game only shows me how bad our qb situation is. Neither of them are even close to caliber of QBs in this game
