We've got a few exciting players but knowing we can't seriously compete nationally with the inferior coaching is a downer.

Sad to see that I’m on the same page as most of our fan base. I can’t wait to tailgate with friends and family but this is the least excited I’ve been about the team In my lifetime.
I guess I haven’t adjusted my expectations from when we expected Les to win the SEC.....

10. Love LSU football and college football in general. My life doesn’t revolve on how well 18-20 year olds perform in a sport for entertainment purposes

Bet you are a young man we had a coach back in the day that I think would had been better then Satan if he stayed in the game. Arnsbarger was a bad arse coach.

I think we’re capable of 10-11 wins. The schedule is obviously difficult, but our defense should be elite, with the front being one of the most dominant units in college football.
Throw in second-year guys such as Phillips, Taylor and Chaisson, and then White. I can’t wait to see our defense.
Two of the most highly recruited quarterbacks LSU has brought in from the HS ranks since Perrilloux (throw Harris in there too).
Dynamic WR transfer in Giles.
Losing Clapp hurts the line, but got confidence in Saahdiq, Ingram, Brumfield.
Obviously Sully and Steve have their warts, but two guys that know the game. Excited to see what they bring.

literally got a call about my season tickets shortly after reading the offense got completely shut out in the scrimmage and just wanted to say frick it, I'm out. Plus, I make no bones about it I absolutely loathe the man that's coaching our team.

On my way to a meeting in Tuscaloosa this week, I could see that ugly monstrosity in the distance (from McFarland Ave). Made me sick to think about the gap that has grown between us over the past 6 years. Ergo, excitement level = 5.5.

OL looks awful according to someone that has been at practice, said that's pretty much why Lowell may need to be the QB
