I don’t mean this to sound as political as it will, but here goes: we all know F*King Alexander is a Jindal crony after he pushed Lombardi out. There was no search, and this stooge has been running LSU into the ground since 2013.

Enough already. I don’t understand why JBE doesn’t just sack this joker, even if just to pick up a few votes in the upcoming election. IDGAF just get this dude out of here.

If he doesn’t fit the governors agenda, very easy.

Because F. King has spent 3 years shilling shamelessly for John Bel's tax increases, and last year John Bel gave F. King a raise and an extension.

It's Jindal's fault this clown got hired, and that story itself is mind-blowing enough. But that's old news at this point. JBE owns F. King lock, stock and barrel and has for certain ever since he extended his contract.

That's why.

F. King's nickname at the Legislature is Chicken Little, because he shows up every session to tell a tale of how LSU will absolutely shut down if they don't get more money.

Their budget is larger than it's ever been, and even the Democrat leges are sick of his constant poor-mouthing.

JBE will unload him if he becomes a big political liability, but so far there isn't a critical mass for that yet.

Yet.

One of the two Republicans beats JBE, and F. King will get out of here on his own because he knows he'll get fired.

You keep saying that but the answer is political. JBE won’t do anything that goes against his own political interest (not the voters, the check writers) and you’re talking about replacing a political appointee.

The BOS has to do it. If the majority of the board are JBE supporters, then it's fairly simple. However, if you think JBE cares enough about LSU BB to fire FKing, then think again.

There was a big write up of why he won't "sack this joker."

This is pretty much an excerpt from the article:

quote:

They ALL need to go. And take Dicky V, Dan Wolken, Pat Forde, and the rest along with them.

I swear if Wade gets put out, I hope they blow the whole damn thing up.. including all "dozens to 50" schools involved AND the NCAA governing body for "lack of institutional control." frick'em. Don't need'em.

Easy. The Louisiana Governor has a good bit of jurisdiction. The LA governor has pretty powerful governing powers compared to other states. Thank EWE and Huey P for that.

A smart gubernatorial candidate will add restructuring the LSU system to his platform, addressing the increase in wasteful spending, the downfall of academic prestige within the state and affordability for in-state students to attend THE flagship university in the state; all while "promising" to replace F***King and Joe Enema.

On a side note, we need to eliminate this University of Louisiana crap, there is only ONE Flagship University in Louisiana and that is Louisiana State University, any candidate adding that to his platform will have my vote!!

That’s because the heat’s been on Alleva and King. The fire needs to be lit under JBE and individuals in the BOS. Elections are coming soon and individuals own and/or operate businesses.
