Eli Ricks has outperformed him.

I said this a few weeks ago and got downvoted like crazy.

You are correct.

He’s definitely top four. I put Mathieu and Peterson above him (and above every corner who has ever played the game, except Deion Sanders). Tre White is my 3/4, essentially

So you'd put him ahead of Corey Webster and Mo Claiborne based on one season?

Webster

He was a phenomenal player who always made huge plays in the biggest games. He played a huge part in Saban winning a title in 2003. He had back-to-back years where he had 7 interceptions.

It’s the truth. Eli has made more game changing plays the last two seasons. Argument is that he locks down his side. So does Eli. There isn’t a question of toughness with Eli either.

Not even sniffing the top 25 if we’re being realistic. He was really solid as a freshman. Terrible as a sophomore. And now he’s injured.

If he never plays another down for LSU, he’s not even better than like Greedy Williams

He had potential to be the best but when you only play 1 full season you don’t deserve to be in that discussion anymore. Mathiu, Peterson, Webster, Claiborne among others are in front of him

I never saw him play, but the old folks will remind you of Tommy Casanova too.

He had one good year. If he never plays again at LSU, he's a blip on the radar. He had a lot to prove this year.

You would think he would be on a mission, wanting to prove he is that Top 5 pick after Devonta Smith cooked his shite last year.

Our fanbase is full of pieces of shite. Jesus. No wonder we have so many kids that can’t wait to get away from LA instead of play for LSU.

Patrick Peterson
Tre White
Chris Williams
Tyrann Matthieu
Corey Webster
Mo Claiborne
Corey Webster
Travis McDaniel
Greedy Williams

All off the top of my head who were better CB’s at LSU than Stingley.

Just pull the stats. The fact he’s the only other “pre-season 3 time All-American” next to Casanova might be the most over stated/non realistic accolade in the history of sports.

Yes…pay sites are alluding to this injury being one that ends his LSU career in effort to preserve his nfl draft status

3 time All-American in this age of hype means nothing. Every corner I previously named had better overall careers at LSU.

Top 10 probably but honestly he has never had the stats to make him great. He is all potential based because he was highly rated and did well as a freshman but since then he hasn’t exactly been great. Get mad but it’s true.
