How do you deal with people that just don't "get it" when it comes to.....

LSU football? This morning I walk into work with my LSU polo on and me and another guy are talking about the upcoming season and how we can't wait to get back into Tiger Stadium yada, yada, yada. Anyway, this stupid arse woman comes into my office bitching that she's tired of hearing about LSU already and how she's from Texas where football is bigger and she never hears anyone talking about any of the Texas teams. I had to choose between a donkey punch or telling her to take her arse back to Texas. I went with the latter but holy frick. I wanted to drop this bitch.

Not true, lots of folks were talking about what a sh!tty season Texas had last year, and folks around here were talking about how badly we curbstomped A&M for months afterward.

I had an AU "fan" the other day tell me he was ready for football. I had seen his laptop cover was AU, so I asked. When I said, "Yep only 34 days left", he said "oh I haven't heard when they were starting the season.

You could be diplomatic about it and bring up the fact that the Big XII just gave the middle finger to Texas about their network after being told they could show high school games and a couple of Texas games only six months ago. Bring up something to her that's relevant about Texas but not in a good way...
At least that's what I do with people like that.
