Correct, you are playing stupid. Unless you support hiring an OC with 1 season of calling plays at a group of 5 school.
If that’s the case it might not be an act.
Supposedly we let a dude with zero offensive coaching experience call plays in 2019.

Not really. This season is over. New coach will want to hire his own staff. You expecting to win out or something after BK was fired?
we were embarrassed last night, I hope with the interim coach bounce we are at least competitive. nobody wants to see LSU get humiliated on national TV at BDS
plus we still have petrino on the schedule, I really want to beat his arse

At this point, the interim coach should be a senior member of the staff, who holds some respect from the players and the coaching staff. This is just for some type of stability for the remaining games. I don't think this describes Rattay, but I would give him a shot calling plays.

Tech would have beaten LSU when Rattay was there

Man, didn’t realize he was on staff at LSU. He was the QB when i was at Tech. Would love to see him get a shot.

So zero OC or playcalling experience?
And that is EXACTLY what Sloan looks like out there

Not to change the subject but what do these offensive analysts do? I’d be embarrassed to have this season on my resume

Don't care. It could be Kermit The Frog and I'm happy.
This season is shot anyway. Bench Nuss, start MVB, and see what you have there.

He seems to fall into the "not Joe Sloan" category. So he's got that going for him.

Slinger had plenty of experience

we play Alabama in two weeks, it is kind of important in the short term

I think it will probably be Atkins. I expect Sloan to get the boot. Hankton 50/50, but definitely won't be back next year.

1) it’s for half a season as an interim coach
2) can it really get any worse than the first half of the year?

It’s really not. This season is over. Nothing that happens, good or bad, really matters.

Is MVB a serious option for next year? That's a question that needs to be answered.

He has to be better than Joe Sloan.
