How Did Bama Beat Us 31-0 in TS in 2002

That night was the only LSU televised game I've missed in maybe 20 years. Wife wanted to go to a damn Atlanta Hawks game. WTF happened that night?

If I remember correctly that was the game where Bama was able to score in the 2 minute offense before the half by running 5 consecutive draw plays for about 80 yards
You'd think Saban would have figured that out eventually

Bama was so good that year, that the NCAA let Bama play in Hawaii the first week of December rather than go to a bowl game!

I've blocked that game from memory. I do remember a friend punching a whole in the wall at his apartment as a result of that game.

Yep. Got stuck around a bunch of Bama fans in the lower rows of West Upper. So not only did I watch a horrible game and freeze my arse off, I had to listen to rednecks yell roll tawd all night.

Fran ran the option 99% of the game. other one percent, ran the fake option pass. scored a bunch of points. lsu did not

I cant belive no one mentioned the reason for the 0 points for LSU. Clausen either started or played alot in that game.

Wasn't it Shaun Alexander that ran for 200 yards or did I dream that? There was some bullshite with that game like Saban has dissed Fran and got them all motivated. Fran wouldn't shake Nick's hand after the game.

Clausen played pretty decently against Bama. He played better than Randall when he came in late in the game and played well enough to get his start the NEXT week against Ole Miss where he sucked dick.

plus that team was not very good....at all, probably his worst team at LSU, granted tons of injuries, mainly Mauck ruined that season
