You'll need five to cover us. At least... so it sounds like you got them.
Can't wait for the game. It's going to be a big one..... for both of us.

Does WVU have any WRs over 5'10" yet?

Our Secondary will be for real. We are good, but questionable at MLB, and D-line, so you will need to be able to run the ball. Short throws, and screens might work, as well. If you fall behind and have to throw, it could get real ugly.

Freshman Jalen Collins is 6'2, and ran a 3.9 shuttle( ) and Micah Eugene looks like a Tyrann Matheiu clone, and has been known to take over a game from the Defensive side(just a player).
Paul Turner ran a 4 flat shuttle and was named Defensive MVP of the 7 on 7 National Championships. Just to add to the whole depth conversation

True, but will start out at WR. Thats how damn loaded we are. We find a QB, and its on.

They got that starks dude, but he best game came against unlv. They are going to have to run it.
Actually i believe it will be close just based on it's away and i dont expect a whole lot from our qb. But iff jj manages the game and doesnt turn it over. Its not going to be close.

This secondary could be the best one LSU has had in a long time. And that's even after losing PP7 to the NFL... That's real depth man

Has this been confirmed? I know Gonzo is the one that took Turner to Miles and told him to offer. Still, all I've heard around town is that Turner will be a DB/Returner at LSU. I hope he starts out at WR. The kid is a monster with the ball in his hands.

And we won't be seeing any freshman getting playing time. Not they aren't good, they are. They're just not needed.
Disagree. I think Eugene will slide into the TM role with TM moving outside.

He will start out at WR, but thats just like Mo. I think they'll look at him at DB, as well. It will all depend on his hands, if he will stay there IMO.

Yeah, you don't want to see us in Nickel, I promise you that. Throw on first down.

The demographic of this site or some of you fans must be 5-12.
We got a flashy new OC who will throw it on every down and return all of our true receivers. Be prepared for us to throw for 400 against you. And that's not smack talk, just the reality.
Nothing about our offense this year is close to our offense last year. All new coaches and all new scheme. You learn.

Per ESPN Pre-season rankings
14. West Virginia Mountaineers (Previous ranking: NR)
On the field, West Virginia's transition to coach-in-waiting Dana Holgorsen's spread offense seemed to be pretty seamless during the spring. Quarterback Geno Smith threw for 388 yards with four touchdowns in Friday night's spring game (albeit against the No. 2 defense), and Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey looked like big-play weapons. Whether WVU's progress carries over into the 2011 season might depend on what happens behind closed doors. Can Holgorsen coexist with Mountaineers coach Bill Stewart, who wasn't exactly ready to retire after the 2011 season? WVU must still find a No. 1 tailback and replace seven starters on defense. The Mountaineers are going to score a ton of points on offense with Holgorsen at the controls, which will probably be enough to send Stewart out with a Big East title.

From that comment, I bet you are closer to those numbers. Look, this is big boy football, and our secondary is really good. We have holes, but that ain't one. Your Offense may be improved, but it ain't going to throw for 400. You need to concentrate on running the ball. If you throw on every down, you will not like the result.

Yeah...prepare for 40 carries from Ware/Ford and your offense staying on the sidelines all game.
