I just don’t see how a person can progress as far in the game as Van Buren has while lacking the fundamental skill required for his position.

I think we should have had packages for him from the start to spark the run game, similar to the way Perriloux was used in 2007.

But did they not see him throw before offering? shite man

shite. How can both of them be so inaccurate? We just can’t get out of our own way on Offense.

Our current QB is not an SEC level QB.

I wouldnt judge any current players until they have competent coaching.

Both Nuss and MVB played better last season.

He’ll get back on track against the OU D.

Kelly wasn’t concerned at all about a backup. He thought he had built a stable o line and that Nuss would win the Heisman.

Just another reason he needed to be terminated

He threw for 300 yards and 3 TDS vs UGA last year. He has potential but needs solid, consistent mentoring and he hasn’t gotten that since he got to LSU

He will be running for his life the entire game and do so with a serious possibility of being injured

All of the camp reports from the summer were that he was inaccurate. This is not a surprise. It is why "play the backup" isn't always the answer

That's it. Hire Lebby.

He was 25/42. How many of those 17 incomplete passes were dropped or the receiver held?

We had a few drops, but nothing atrocious. He just has general accuracy issues. Even with completions, a decent number of his passes are slightly off. Now, our OL is atrocious and we make just about zero really good catches, so that all plays a part of our incompetence. Our guys don't help the QBs out at all. They dropped a lot of catchable Nuss passes as well.
