quote:I know, right? Baton Rouge has no room to talk. Look at all the big recruits that have chosen elsewhere from BR! It's the same with New Orleans and several other South Louisiana areas. North Louisiana does an excellent job providing talent to LSU, especially when considering it's much lower population.
Yeah, I get pretty sick and tired of all the folks around Baton Rouge slamming us in N. LA saying we aren't LSU fans

I lived in Monroe and Shreveport and they have some great fans. I couldn't believe how many make the drive on a regular basis for games.

As someone born and raised in South Louisiana, I’ve never had a problem with North Louisiana or anyone from there. What I do have a problem with are all the bandwagon Bama dick riders that live in this state. frick those people.

No.
Sorry.
And it has little to do with South Louisiana somehow hating North Louisiana. Very much the opposite.
Shreveport always considered itself more "Ark-La-Tex" than Louisiana.
Eg, there were far more Dallas Cowboy fans than Saint fans there.

Jesus, LA people are so insecure.
Last time LSU won the BCS, 51% of the players were from out of state.

Bama owns NE LA? Why because every two to three years they get a recruit? I guess under that theory LSU owns South Alabama.

The last time LSU won N La Bama was a rival. These past 8-9 years as far as recruiting have been owned by Bama. That’s a long time with a foothold in an area. It will be extremely difficult to overcome. Time and distance to travel there is also a factor - kinda like driving from Houston to BR for us.
Kids there have friends and relatives that are growing up Bama fans because of them taking top talent plus they like a winner. With a personal connection that is a double whammy in terms of loyalty.
To be honest, it was like that in NOLA for a long time. The players that went to ND, the U, Michigan and many others over LSU until WINNING fixed that. Winning can fix this as well.

Kinda making the point for them. Why isnt it still the case? Why is N LA prime territory for defections.
Call Cam, Slade, and others and get back to us..

Really?? Nobody is gonna call him out on this bullshite? Devonta Smith is from Amite. Dylan Moses is from Baton Rouge. He has a point with the other kids but don’t assume every kid who picks bama over us is automatically a NELA kid.
